Gunmen suspected to be cultists have killed a son of Oba Abdulahi Okunloye, the traditional ruler of Ofatedo community in Egbedore Local Government Area of Osun State.

The 43-year-old victim, Prince Yinusa Okunloye, was shot dead in the early hours of Saturday, July 23.

It was gathered that the Olofa of Ofatedo was at his residence with the deceased before he was murdered.

The victim reportedly appealed to his attackers to spare his life with a promise to give them whatever they demanded, but his plea was rebuffed.

The development has reportedly thrown the entire community into a state of confusion.
