Nigerians Slam Solomon Buchi For Saying His Fiancée Is Not The Most Beautiful And Intelligent

Social media users have taken a swipe at popular writer and relationship coach, Solomon Buchi after he stated that his wife-to-be is not the most beautiful and intelligent woman. This comes weeks following his engagement to the love of his life, Arike Adeola, that rocked social media platforms. Taking to Facebook, Solomon Buchi penned a note to his beloved wife stating his commitment and devotion to their commitment.

“You’re not the most beautiful woman; neither are you the most intelligent woman, but like I’ve chosen to never find perfection in anyone else. I put my gaze on you, and with that commitment, we would mold ourselves for ourselves. Our perfection is in our commitment.

Stating that you’re not the most beautiful/intelligent might sound like it’s not a compliment, yeah? But it’s a realistic base for real love. Acknowledging that my woman isn’t the best, but I’m not looking for the best. I was looking for you and I found you.

There’s no best, there is just someone you choose and see the best in them. This to me is the real love. Not the one that consoles itself in the faux reality that their partner is the most good looking, most intelligent, most successful person in the world. That’s disingenuous and doesn’t give room for love to thrive. I love you, ayanfe. I’m committed to you. I miss you so much!!! But my love for you is stronger than distance” he wrote.

The lengthy post, however, was met with ridicule as many users of the platform insisted that the post was demeaning.

The man did not say anything bad. The woman won his heart simply by good character. When a woman is of good behaviour, to many such woman is automatically a beautiful woman. Most beautiful girls are very ugly at heart

All this guy said has got nothing to  debase his fiancee.  My understanding  here is that , the lad was only expressing imperfection- a subtle way to convey  his  love and admiration. He assured his madam that al along i never sought perfection from you because i'm neither, but i love you . Just wondering what degree some of you  acquired.
