Nigerian Olympic medalist and defending commonwealth champion, Ese Brume has broken the commonwealth record to become the latest (gold) medallist for Nigeria.
The long jumper blew away all competition to seal her gold medal winning place since her second jump attempt. The star went on to break the commonwealth championship record by breaking the 7m jump mark and remains the latest commonwealth long jump record holder.
