24-Yr-Old Rwandan Woman Arrested For Indecent Dressing, Sentenced To 2 Years in Jail

The Rwandan woman whose arrest for indecent dressing received international attention has been sentenced to 2 years in prison.
Mugabekazi Lilliane, 24, was arrested & charged with public indecency after wearing a revealing dress to a concert by popular French musician Tayc in Kigali on August 9, 2022.
Following her arrest, she was remanded in jail as she waited to hear her fate in court.
"She is suspected to have committed public indecency," the spokesman for the prosecution, Faustin Nkusi, told AFP, following her arrest.
News of the arrest sparked outrage, but Rwandan government officials, including former justice minister Johnston Busingye, backed the move.
On Thursday, August 18, Lilliane was sentenced to 2 years imprisonment by a Rwandan Court.

Two years in jail,for what naw, Africans why why una dey disgrace person with una backward primitive way of life style,no be her body she take wear ram? Why two years just for Indecent dressing,na wa oh,she needs to get a lawyer and sue the police sef, doesn't rawanda have pornstars  Huh?

Do you know they are kids everywhere? No sane human would walk around unclad . Why you no naked they waka for road since na your own body, even mad person they still cover body.

What is primitive is women walking around naked. Stop your white mentality here,daughter of mine surely won't be walking around looking like that,you Africans nowadays need your own way and stop the follow follow

My point is two years in jail is way out of line,was there a law regarding this before in the country
