Titus Chima Nwankwo and George Ifiok Utibe-Abasi, two Nigerian bankers, have been jailed. The bankers were convicted for stealing N2.9 million from the account of a deceased customer, Godfried Francis Osso. The bankers were arraigned by the Uyo Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). Justice Abua sentenced Utibe-Abasi to three months in prison with an option of fine of N100,000; Nwankwo bagged three months with an option of fine N50,000.
