Kanye West riled the black community when he stepped out for his Paris Fashion Show event in a White Lives Matter T-shirt.
On the front of the shirt is the image of Pope John Paul II and the words “Seguiremos Tu Ejemplo,” which translates in English to “We Will Follow Your Example.” The entire outfit set the internet on fire, with the likes of Jaden Smith calling him out.
“I can’t stand behind what Kanye’s saying, he does not have the full support of the youth,” Jaden said in a since-deleted tweet. He followed up the statement by writing, ““Black Lives Matter” and “I Don’t Care Who’s It Is If I Don’t Feel The Message I’m Out.”
