2023: Comedian Basketmouth Announces Change Of Name As Election Approaches

Bright Okpocha aka Basketmouth has announced a change of name as a resulting of the upcoming 2023 elections.

The comedian and creative took to his Instagram page to make the revelation and sharing his reason for the decision.

Basketmouth noted that as campaign season kicks off, politicians will begin to ‘talk anyhow’ thereby, earning the ‘basketmouth’ moniker.

As a result, he has decided to change his name to ‘Onyekwere’ until after the elections.
