Mukhtar Bala Matazu, a young Nigerian man, has been killed in Plateau State.
The man was stabbed to death by suspected phone snatchers in Jos, Plateau state.
The ex-student of the General Hassan Usman Katsina Unity College Bauchi State, was killed by the assailants at Gangare area of Jos on Saturday evening, October 29, 2022.
According to a journalist, Bello Lukman, the incident happened when the deceased returned from a wedding in Bauchi State.
He further disclosed that one of the suspects was caught and beaten to death by an angry mob.
"He decided to pick his laptop from his shop in the area when the boys accosted him and demanded both his phone and laptop," Lukman narrated.
"It was in the process that they stabbed him in different parts of his body, having collected his phone successfully, one of the thieves stayed behind to collect his laptop while his colleagues fled, by then, a crowd had gathered and the thief was beaten to death by the crowd."
