Bereaved superstar singer, Davido has rescheduled his most-anticipated A.W.A.Y festival till November 2023.

This new development comes following the tragic death of his beloved first son, Ifeanyi David Adeleke, who passed on in October 2022.

Ifeanyi was said to have drowned in his dad’s swimming pool in Banana Island. All efforts to resuscitate him, unfortunately, proved futile.

The official statement was rolled out by his team and laid emphasis on the fact that it is imperative that the music icon spends time with his family at a time like this.

Following this decision, fans and loved ones of the musician will have no choice but to anticipate the festival in the coming year.
