Anambra businessman and billionaire, Prince Arthur Eze has distanced himself from Peter Obi’s presidential dream saying he does not support it.
.
Eze, who spoke at the occasion of the 2022 Ofala festival of HRH Igwe (Dr.) Robert Eze, the traditional ruler of Ukpo in Dunukofia local government area of the state on Monday, December 26, 2022, said warned Obi to drop his ambition, but he wouldn’t listen.
.
He said after listening to the Labour Party presidential candidate on the number of states he thought he could win, he advised him to withdraw from the race and wait for next time.
.
He added that he advised him not to waste his money because he was not convinced that the Labour Party flag bearer can win the 2023 presidential election.
.
He said, “I warned Peter Obi to withdraw from this race but he would not listen. I told him plainly that I am not part of his plans. I told him to drop his ambition, and wait for next time.
.
“When he told me about his ambition, I asked him the states he thinks he can win in the west and in the north — he told me; but I was not convinced. I told him he cannot win; so that he would not waste his time and money.”
.
Peter Obi emerged as the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party in June after he dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the workers’ party.

This reminds me of the time Obama's pastor told him to withdraw cos he will never win....time will tell but until then I'm quite disappointed in this lack of support being displayed by most prominent Ibos towards PO, it's really sad that Ibos are never supportive of one another  Angry

To hell with naysayers. Why will you support him when he frustrated all your plans to milk Anambra as usual? he doesn't bow to any godfather, so its expected that you and your likes wont support him. That said, this famed Igbo hate on Igbo's is not entirely true. It is blown out of proportion at any given chance. Not all Yoruba's support Tinubu, and not all Arewa's support Atiku. At no point in time has any contestant, the world over, get 100 percent support from his people. No community has ever been 100 percent in unity since the creation of this world.

Here is the thing ,I hope Obi is not clearing a smoother way for Tinubu emergence.I have said the repeatedly, Obi chances are way below slim and as such that will trim the edge for Tinubu APC to emerge because Obi will shortchanged Atiku chances in the south East .Obi can’t win in the overall standings .I just hope we won’t be counting our loses after the election Caz as it stands , Obi will ensure Tinubu clearance as the winner .If the entire north swayed to Atiku which is most unlikely,Atiku will squeeze Tinubu in some parts of south west , but there’s more possibility of Atiku winning some states in south west, .Obi on the other hand may be successful in central northern states and one or two key states in south East ,which is not enough to be declared a winner .Atiku will outgunned Tinubu in south -south and also dump Obi to the floor .So , looking at the trajectory,Atiku has overwhelming support to be declared the winner .

You're not following the political trend. You are miles away from reality. All data collected so far over many months, all street interviews, everything, OBI has consistently won over the other 3 contenders, and infact, their combined take is less than OBI's. Projections see Obi winning by more than 10 Million margin. If there is anyone with a very slim chance here, it is Atiku. When people with PVC's are interviewed, his name rarely come up.

My wish is Atiku or Obi , but never Tinubu .I hate that chameleon and hate him over and over again .He’s the most dangerous snake ever grazed the wildernesses.

Honestly the hatred from his own kinsmen is quite alarming.
