Nigerian actress, Susan Peters has disclosed why her 7-year marriage to Dutch husband, Koen Croon ended.
The entrepreneur tied the knot in a traditional wedding ceremony held in 2015 in Benue State. However, the couple sorted for the divorce last year 2022.
Speaking about why she got a divorce from her ex-husband, Koen Croon, she disclosed that her ex-mother-in-law never liked her because of her skin colour.
Susan Peters made this disclosure while reacting to Prince Harry’s comment about how his family treated his wife, Meghan, because of her skin color.
She commented on Instagram saying; “We all go through the same thing, my mother In-law never liked me too. I think the color itself is intimidating, oh well … we never agreed with each other at all.”

You probably married her for papers and her family saw your intentions and they had to advise her, and later she saw you were not genuine. So stop this your bulshit talk. Tbh, I've got a friend in a similar situation the mother in law told her to her face that she would never like or accept her even though she accepted her kids, my friend told her that in that case she should be ready to lose her son to her cos she's not going anywhere and that's how it is, her husband told his mum that he's sorry he's got to stick with his wife and kids. Yes, it could be that Susan's mother in law hated her, but that's not enough reason for her to quit her marriage if she truly loved the man.

Ur story is very common in Europe, it happens daily. Most guys that genuinely want to be with a Western girl got treated like outcasts to the point of destroying the relationship eventually I believe u 100%.

I think this is the same with marrying across different tribes even within Nigeria. People stay married if both individuals want to stay married. Everything else is an excuse not to stay married.

Everyone has a point one way or the other cos even in our Africa or Nigeria some parents are still of the fact that they don't want their son or daughter to marry from a certain tribe, region or perhaps country but we have some in-laws that are crazy to go to any length to dissolve a certain son or daughter's marriage because of tribe or region not to talk of people that resent skin colors, in fact if things didn't work in their way then they could come up with any ultimate plan called the-devil-plan just to dissolve the marriage they don't care if they do the extreme cos they are so dead crazy about it like that's the job of their life so if you love your life you had better jump out of it or say bye bye to your kids and your spouse forever.
