Ahead of Wednesday’s presidential rally of the All Progressives Congress in Enugu State (APC), a body, the Concerned Enugu APC Members, says it has observed massive renting of crowds from neighbouring states by the Chairman of the Enugu State chapter of the party, Chief Ugochukwu Agballah.
Agballah and the governorship candidate, Chief Uchenna Nnaji, have engaged contractors to ferry rented crowd from Ebonyi, Anambra, Abia, Imo, Benue and other nearby states to come here and answer Enugu people at today's rally for Asiwaju and Senator Shettima in order to save themselves the impending embarrassment of an empty venue.
After the rally with the Asiwaju and Senator Shettima some aggrieved supposed members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Enugu State created some pandemonium involving the chairman of the party, Ugochukwu Agballah following some funds which was to be disbursed to the 'rented crowd'
According to reports, the presidential candidate of APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu gave some money to the Enugu State APC Chairman for the 'rented crowd' present at today's rally, but the money wasn't given to them.
