I'm Open To Forming An Alliance With LP’s Obi - Atiku Abubakar

Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has said he is open to an alliance with his counterpart from Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi.

Atiku Abubakar Finally Speaks After Presidential Poll

Atiku Abubakar stated this during a press conference in Abuja on Thursday.

Atiku Abubakar’s comment comes a day after Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) was declared the winner of Saturday’s exercise.

Recall that Kanyi Daily reported that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Chairman, Mahmood Yakubu announced Bola Tinubu as the winner of the poll some minutes past 4 am on Wednesday at the National Collation Centre in Abuja.

“That Tinubu Bola Ahmed of the APC, having satisfied the requirement of the law, is hereby declared the winner and is returned elected,” Professor Yakubu declared in an announcement.

While the PDP and LP have rejected the outcome of the poll, Atiku, who ran alongside Obi in the 2019 election, says he is open to working with the former Anambra State governor.

That's called bolting the stable after the horse had already left. Your self-centredness prevented you from doing that in the first place. Or from doing what was right. It is the turn of the south.  Now it's three late. Neither you nor Obi would become president of NGR, even if you conjoin in conspiracy against the winner or against the Govt and people of NGR. Obi has had his circumstantial time in the presidential limelight. Now it's over for both of you. Shikena. Finito. Sefini. Start packing your luggage to return to Dubai. Your observation is correct my brother. Atiku's team have all the evidence. By the way, the reports coming out of Nigeria is that majority of people are in a sombre mood and no one is jubilating on the streets except agberos and touts

Any political party is free to form, join alliance with LP with Peter Obi as president. It was alliance that removed PDP from ASO ROCK but with or without alliance LP with OBI has won the majority vote.
