Former lawmaker and social critic, Senator Shehu Sani, has predicted what the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, might face when President Muhammadu Buhari leaves office.

Sani believes that Emefiele will not be protected against President-elect, Bola Tinubu and some governors in the All Progressives Congress (APC), who tackled Emefiele’s naira redesign policy when Buhari eventually becomes an ex-President on May 29, this year.

Sani wrote on his Twitter handle;

“When Baba (Buhari) is gone, Emefiele will be like Zebra in the hands of Tigers”

They will  do nothing. Why Emefiele ? Is he Buhari?  He is  only  carrying out the  order of  Buhari  whose  trade in stock is  redesigning  of naira notes.  He did  it in the
eighties and  now  again.  You  igbo haters are  putting the blame on  Emefiele.  Humphrey  Nwosu  conducted  the best elections  ever  in  Nigeria.  Who remembers  him today? Instead  you are  celebrating this  kill joy you  call  Yaku bullshit  Maluu( INEC chairman)
