She needs to pray about it.but firstly heaven help those who help themselves.she needs to get her more involve with things and people that makes her happy.listen to more music,with good lyrics that can uplift her spirit.and whenever she's sad ,she needs to reflect back to her happy memories,maybe the ones with her friends or families.and let her spend time with kids,cos actually lil kids are very good when it comes to making sumone happy.playing with them,and just been free.and lastly she needs to open up to sumone,communication helps alot.

communication & good music are a great points,but talking about reflect to her past happy memories,she didn't had any.her pass was a hell coz she lost her dad when she was 2.so is very sad but, she is willing to learn how to over come this mess.

She should first drop her depression life somewhere and face try a new thing that will bring her happiness. at age 20yrs, she should try and give up whatever is causing her depressions. without that, the guy will leave for sure and her depression will add little percent on the one she got before.
Advise her to go for rehab about depression, Maybe it will help her.

rehab?very good idea.she is 24years old, not that she don't want to drop her depression according to her.just that she can't get over it by her own self,do to her past was horrible.she haven't seen happiness since she was 2years old after she lost her father

Yeah, exactly! Staying and sinking herself in those memories will only worsen the situation! The problem is that she should realize that by herself,or to be helped to,by ppl she trusts, otherwise the problem will remain there! Taking things as they come, and appreciating the small things in life,are making the difference! We must look at life through the windshield, not the rear-view mirror!
