A bill mandating the President-elect to submit the names of persons nominated as Ministers or Commissioners within sixty days of taking the oath of office for confirmation by the Senate or State House of Assembly has been signed into law by President Muhammadu Buhari. This is as the National Assembly announced that 16 alteration bills have all been signed into law.

The Deputy Speaker, Ahmed Wase disclosed this on Friday in a statement. One of the bills makes it mandatory for presidents and Governors to submit the names of persons nominated as Ministers or Commissioners within sixty days of taking the oath of office for confirmation by the Senate or State House of Assembly. It would be recalled that President Buhari was heavily criticized for taking six months to appoint ministers in 2015.

Other bills signed by President Buhari delete railway, electricity generation and prison services from the exclusive legislative list. This means states are allowed to generate and distribute electricity, also operate railways without seeking permission from the federal government. Another bill also granted financial independence to states’ Houses of Assembly and judiciary.

This man is seriously looking for trouble.  Which president are we talking about now?  The outgoing or the INEC select president that has not been ratified?

Buhari spent almost a year to conclude his cabinet appointments, now he's mandating someone else to  do   that in two months. But  again  the people always deserves the leaders the may have, and Nigerians   completely deserves  Buhari's type what a disaster- this man is  dishonest, disrespectful and empty
