Actress, Foluke Daramola Reveals How GRV Removes Her Husband After Handling Him Party Ticket

Popular Nollywood actress, Foluke Daramola alleges that the Labour Party gubernatorial candidate in Lagos, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour (GRV) sidelined her husband after handing him a party ticket.

Foluke’s husband, Kayode Salako, resigned as chairman of the Labour party chairman in Lagos state in January 2023 to enable him to contest the seat of the Oshodi-Isolo Constituency 1 in the House of Representatives. Salako resigned six months after he was named the party’s chairperson in the state.

In a heated exchange with a social media user, Foluke Daramola alleged that GRV became tribalistic after being handed a party ticket by her husband. She stated that he replaced House of Assembly candidates that were Yorubas with Igbo.

In her words, “take ur time o don’t insult me on my page and I say a big amen to ur prayers God will reward me according to the work of my hands I know Gbadebo very well my husband gave him that ticket and what did he do next he removed my husband and the Labour Party chairman cos he’s not ibo and all the Yoruba house of assembly he took their tickets to put Igbo there and u dare come to my page to insult me??!!!….let’s be guided o abeg.”

I hope you are not justifying the way the election was violently conducted? Many may be rejoicing now but the implications may not manifest now (better future sold).

The people that started this tribal war knows their reason and are achieving more from it, but an ordinary man will not sit to think of the years there's been peaceful coexistence among tribes in those states and figure out the answer to the one plus one. If we cannot use our brain but keep fuelling the fire of this tribal bigotry, then a civil war bigger than the biafra war is bound to happen.
