Nigerian UFC middleweight champion, Israel Adesanya has cemented his legacy in the sport by knocking out his nemesis and arch rival, Alex Pereira. The Nigerian star knocked out Alex with a counter left hook in the second round of their fight.

Israel Adesanya described it as a sweet victory, when discussing the win during the post fight interview and also gave props to Alex Pereira for being a great champion. You can watch highlight of the fight and video interview below:

I stayed up to watch the fight. Watched all other fights on the card and was awake when they walked to the ring, then woke up by 9 AM. I have watched the highlights of the fight, but i doesn't feel the same as watching in real time.
