A former presidential aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adamu Garba, has asserted that the presidential campaign of the Labour Party, LP, was “a grand Ponzi scheme.”

Sharing a screenshot of a news headline that read, “Non-compliance with UK audit regulations, shady campaign transactions, other reasons Obi spent Easter in detention,” Garba said he was not surprised that the LP presidential campaign was a Ponzi scheme.

In a tweet, he wrote: “Hmmm Hmmmmmm. So the whole Obi-Datti thing was a grand Ponzi scheme? Shocked but not surprised.”

Recall that Obi was last Friday, detained for hours at London’s Heathrow Airport, over alleged impersonation.

He was later released after interrogation by officials of UK Immigration.
