“Those Wishing Tinubu Dead May End Up Dying Before Him” – Deji Adeyanju

The Convener of Concerned Nigerians, Deji Adeyanju, has advised those wishing President-elect Bola Tinubu dead to desist.

According to him, those wishing the president-elect death could end up dying before him.

Adeyanju said this after Tinubu’s return to Abuja from Paris, France on Monday, which created social media buzz.

Many critics of the 71-year-old president-elect had pointed out that a substance believed to be a PICC line was visible under his clothes, further fuelling insinuations that he went abroad for medical treatment.

The Peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC) line is a thin, flexible tube that is inserted into a vein in the upper arm and guided into a large vein above the right side of the heart called the superior vena cava. It is used to give intravenous fluids, blood transfusions, chemotherapy, and other drugs.

Adeyanju charged those making a fuss over Tinubu’s perceived illness to take a break, noting that the same thing was done to Buhari, who went on to complete eight years as president.

He said that he suffered persecution under the Buhari administration but never wished the president dead.

“President-elect Tinubu is back to Nigeria. How far now with all those wishing him dead in the name of opposition? Learn from the folly of the last 8 yrs against Buhari and begin to prepare for 2027,” he said in a series of tweets.

“Those wishing Tinubu dead may end up dying before him. Life is so full of surprises and humility. Buhari who is about to complete his 2nd term is a perfect example why we shouldn’t take politics to the extreme. It’s just politics and nothing more. It’s about ideology and not hate.”

Adeyanju added, “The Buhari regime persecuted me so much in the last 8yrs. They locked me up in prisons, almost killed me twice then spread so much fake news about me but not for once did I ever wish Buhari dead either publicly or privately. It’s nothing personal but just ideological differences.”

That Tinubu runs Lagos state like pig farm. That he will kill Nigeria with bullion vans. Now he is singing praises for the embattled president select.
