Sonia Ekweremadu, daughter of convicted former deputy speaker, Ike Ekweremadu has spoken for the first time after UK court sentenced her parents.
Sonia while speaking to BBC revealed that she feels so guilty that her parents were convicted because of her.
She explained that she was shocked at the arrest of her parents in the UK and as well as the sentenced meted at them.
In her words, Sonia said:
"It's sad. It's been really hard to wrap my head around it. I understand the conviction. Personally, I disagree with it; however, that's from a very biased perspective as their daughter, and I would obviously back my parents. "However, the law has taken its course, and we just have to now move forward as a family."
She added that life will no longer be the same for her and her siblings
