Lagos State Police Command Public Relations Officer PRO, Benjamin Hundeyin has left his fans and social media users buzzing after replying a tweet from Nigerian Singer, Peter Okoye popularly known as Mr P asking the Nigerian Police Force to temper justice with Mercy on Seun Kuti.

Asking the Nigerian Police Force to temper justice with Mercy on Seun Kuti after he was caught on Camera assaulting a Policeman in Lagos State, Peter Okoye tweeted: "Dear @PoliceNG, what Seun did was wrong! Please temper justice with Mercy!"

This tweet from Peter Okoye asking for the Nigerian Police Force to temper justice with Mercy on Seun Kuti has attracted reactions from Lagos State Police Command Public Relations Officer PRO, Benjamin Hundeyin who tweeted: "Just in case you didn't know or have forgotten, we don't give justice. The court does!"

Why should he be treated with kid's gloves? No, he should be treated as someone assaulting law enforcement agent.
I saw the order day, when a policeman was slapping and beating an innocent citizen with a cane.
He was arrested and summarily disciplined.
Same treated should be given to a citizen that err against the law. Regardless of how many wraps of marijuana he had smoked during the day. If he's allowed to get away with just a slap on his wrist.  Before you know artistes such as Portable would be fighting and slapping police all over the place.
