BREAKING! Gov. Akeredolu of Ondo State Officially Handover to His Deputy Over Ill Health

Governor Rotimi Akeredolu has formally written to notify the Ondo State House of Assembly that he is on medical leave and that his deputy, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, should act as acting Governor.

TVC reported that the Speaker of the House, Olamide Oladiji announced that the Governor has embarked on a 21-day leave for medical treatment abroad starting from 7th of June, 2023 to 6th July,2023.

The leave will extend to the 6th of July due to public holidays on June 12 (Democracy Day) and Eid el Kabir (28th and 29th June).

The state government has not disclosed the nature of Mr Akeredolu’s ailment and where specifically he will seek treatment abroad.

Hope you get well. But how many from the state that you govern can afford to fly out for treatment? You see why it is good to use the commonwealth of the people for the people. You could have had the best treatment, close to home, with all loved ones beside you.
