Christian Lover Tried to kill Ex-Girl Friend using Sex BOMB
Sex bomb: Jilted lover arrested for ‘making exploding sex toy to send to ex-lover for Christmas’

By Daily Mail Reporter

Accused: Terry Allen Lester has been charged after police found an explosive sex toy in his luggageAccused: Terry Allen Lester has been charged after police found an explosive sex toy in his luggage

A jilted lover has been arrested after he allegedly wedged gunpowder, buck shot and BB shot into a sex toy to make it explosive.

Police claim that Terry Allen Lester planned to hand the device, found in a container labelled ‘Christmas Gifts’, to one of three ex-girlfriends over Yuletide.

The 37-year-old from Waseca, Minnesota, has been charged with felony creation, possession of an explosive or incendiary device and felony terroristic threats.

He faces a maximum penalty of 10 years imprisonment and a £13,000 fine if convicted.

On New Year’s Day police officer Kari Kalow responded to a call about a civil matter and went to a residence in Waseca.

According to the woman who made the call, Mr Lester had been residing with her and another woman at her apartment – but he was forced to leave hastily when the manager learned about him staying.

Mr Lester was evicted from the apartment on New Year’s Eve, but he left behind some bags – and he had told one of the women what was in the luggage.

The contents of the bags made the women uncomfortable so they contacted the police and took them to Mrs Kalow.

One of the bags included a container with the words ‘Christmas Gifts’ written in black marker – and in there were some sex toys.

According to the criminal complaint, Mr Lester had made some modifications to a sex toy.

He allegedly put gun powder, BB shot and buck shot from shotgun shells into one with black and red wires that connected to a trigger with a battery port. However there was no battery inside the device.

The complaint went on to say that Mr Lester planned on giving it to one of three women – in each of those cases, the relationship had ended badly.

Also left at the apartment were tools used in the construction of the explosive device, including cords, cables, a small tool kit and two other sex toys.

The Bloomington Bomb Squad was contacted by Waseca Police Sergeant Scott Girtler.

The squad arrived two hours later and X-rayed the devices after first inspecting them.

The first device, the one shown to Mrs Kalow earlier, had two wires coming out of it that were connected to what appeared to be a trigger from a cordless drill.

The other two devices appeared to be unaltered and checked out.

The bomb squad cut into the first device and removed the projectiles and gunpowder, rendering it inert.

Lester remains in police custody.

Is the above Not Terrorism??

The Question is Where is Love for Enemy in this Guy,which Christians claim Huh?

In fact In Christianity there is only SEX,SEX,SEX,SEX,SEX

that why ISLAM DON’T ALLOW BOYFRIEND,GIRL-FRIEND !

...You are trying to generalize a vice...is like associating a persons personal motive to the whole...is that justifiable...?

@chik001: Am not trying to generalize as you accused above. I know that not all Christians are like that. This is what most of your Christians brothers are doing to Muslims. I mean generalizing the act of some one to the whole Muslims. An example to this is calling Muslims as a terrorist which is unfair to many. Am just trying to show you people that, the act of terrorism is associated to people not only a Muslims as many felt to understand.

@abduuul

Go ahead and show me in the Holy Bible where Mohammed was specifically mentioned by Christ...and I will show you a number of founders of religion who have claimed the same verse was attributed to them...
You guys should quit using the Old Testament for criticism...God deals with people according to dispensation or age... The Old testament as I have said to yous somewhere is used as emphasis.

WE (Christians) live in a new dispensation...age...convenant...not Old...

As for what is said about Muhammad(PBUH) not being mention in the Torah and Gospel is a blatant lie. Christians and jews have hidden the facts regarding Prophet Muhammad(PBUH) in there respective Scriptures. ALLAH says:

O People of the scripture: Why do you mix truth with the falsehood and conceal the truth while you know? Qur'an [3:71]
 He also says:
O People of the scripture! Now has come to you Our Messenger explaining to you much of that which you used to hide from the Scripture and pass over much. Indeed, there has come to you from Allah a light and a plain Book. Wherewith Allah guides all those who seek His Pleasure to ways of peace, and He brings them out of darkness by His Will unto light and guides to the Straight Way. Qur'an [5:15-16]

The great differences between the four gospels clearly demonstrate that the Bible has been changed and distorted, a fact which is known to the people of knowledge.Otherwise, how could the story of crucifixion of Jesus be mentioned with events of his resurrection from the grave after three days, and other information which is inconceivable? What can be said about this, is that it is from the word of his disciples.
Christians scholars distorted and interpreted the Gospels as they wished. That is why there are four gospels, and each differs from the other! The Christians admits that the gospels were authored by four known men during their times. It is said that the gospel of Matthew was written by the disciples of Jesus, Matthew, nine years after Jesus was raised to the Heavens, in Hebrew. It is further said that the gospel of Mark was written by one Mark of Aaron twenty three years after Jesus was raised to the Heavens, and in Greek. John is thought to have written his Gospel  sixty three years after Jesus was raised to the Heavens, also in Greek. Luke was a doctor in Anatolia, a disciples of Simon, and is  said to have written his Gospel after Mark wrote his.

It is intellectually impossible that these Gospels have not mentioned the final prophet! These Gospels talk about matters of minor importance and do not talk about a major event and important issue? So how can the Bible not have a mention of our Prophet, his name and his lifestyle?
Among the Passages from the Bible which prove the Prophet hood of Muhammad are the following:
1   Isaiah 29:12  " And if the document is given to one who cannot read and he is asked to read it,he will say: 'I can't read."
Who is this who cannot read other than Muhammad?

Allah says:
Those who follow the Messenger, the prophet who an neither read nor write whom they find written with them in the Torah and the Gospel... Qur'an[7:157]

There are many Prophecies in relation to the prophet Muhammad in the Torah, i do not want to mention all these passeges; rather my goal is to encourage people to search for the truth themselves.
2. John 14:30 " I cannot speak with you much longer, because the ruler of the world is coming." Who is the 'ruler of this world after Jesus except Muhammad?
The Message was sealed with him, and he was given the complete Shari' ah which suits all times and places.
3. The Jews sent Priests to him to find out who he was.'He confessed, " I am not the Christ." And they asked him, "What then? Are you Elijah?" And He said : "I am not ." Are you that prophet?' And he answered, "No"....And they said to him :"Why do you baptize then, if you are not the Christ, nor Elijah, nor that Prophet?'(John 1:20-25).

'That Prophet' is not Jesus, but Muhammad(PBUH) , because John the baptist continued preaching and baptizing and foretelling the coming of the Prophet during the life time of Jesus.

4. The Prophet Jesus foretold the coming of another prophet, whose name would be 'Periqlytos' or 'Paraclete' or 'Paracalon' and who (that is,whose teaching) would last forever, 'I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter (Periqlytos), that he may abide with you forever.'(John XIV,16).

The word Periqlytos means 'illustrious, 'renowned' and 'Praiseworthy' and this is exactly what the 'Ahmad' means. It is confirmed in the Qur'an that the Prophet Jesus did prophesize that a Prophet named 'Ahmad' would come after him.
 Allah, the Exalted, says:
And remember when Jesus the son of Mary, said: "O Children of Israel! I am the Messenger of Allah unto you, confirming the Torah which came before me, and given glad tidings of a Messenger to come after me, whose name shall be Ahmad. Qur 'an(61:6)

5.  In the gospels of john, Mark and Matthew it state:
'Even though I came first, I am not good enough to untie his sandals.'(John 1:27)

John also told the people ,"After me, one will come who is more Powerful than I am. I'm not good enough to bend down and untie his sandals."( Mark 1:7).
This Prophecy is not of Jesus(A.s) for he was alive during the life of John, they lived together, and were of similar age.

Finally, I call people to study and research, and I am sure if one researches while he leaves aside all prejudices and preconceived notions, he will come to the conclusion that there is no god worthy of being worshipped except Allah and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.

Can I say that the OLD TESTAMENT PART OF THE BIBLE TEACHES TERRORISM while the new testament teaches peace? Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy THIS IS RIDICULOUS INDEED. So, it is not one Bible then!?!?!?!?  It is the combination of OLD and NEW Testaments.

Now christians should tell me if OLD TESTAMENT is not part of the Bible. Just that............
I repeat...The Old testament was included in the Bible for examples or emphasis...

 1 Corinthians 10:6-12

...Show me in the words of Christ where he said to kill or wage war on one's neighbour or  enemy...or where he mentioned any act or terrorism...
We Christians (little Christs) live in the new testament...

I Picked out all the verses you quoted and commented on the one after the other…
Isaiah 29: 11-12
v11. For you this whole vision is nothing but words sealed in a scroll. And if you give the scroll to someone who can read, and say to him, “Read this, please,” he will answer, “I can’t; it is sealed.”
v12. Or if you give the scroll to someone who cannot read, and say, “Read this, please,” he will answer, “I don’t know how to read.”
I did not see Mohammed name there… ???he is not the only illiterate in the whole wide world…

The word illiterate is someone who cannot read and write a particular language…in essence…my great grand father is an illiterate in English language and not Igbo…

John 14:30 "
This is the complete verse:
I will not talk with you much longer, because the ruler of this world is coming. He has no power over me…
I did not see Mohammed name there… ???and after Christ…there are so many prophets who had claimed that their arrival is heralded by this and many other verses in the Bible…How come The Holy Bible and not any other book…?

John 1:20-25

I am not the Christ - This confession was that of John The Baptist . He had a wide reputation. The nation was expecting that the Messiah was about to come, and multitudes were ready to believe that John was he…

Prophet is a title and not a name…there were so many prophets before and during Christ time…Mohammed was not mentioned there… Huh?

John 14:16

Lets read from verses 15…
“If you love me, you will obey what I command.
v16. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever—
v17. The Spirit of truth.
Spirit of truth…what truth did Mohammed teach…killing anyone who did not listen to him…? Christ in the new testament never encouraged violence…
The contradiction here is Jesus called God Father and Islam called that blasphemy…yet they believed he was talking about the coming of Mohammed…

Mark 1:7
and he was preaching, and saying, "After me One is coming who is mightier than I, and I am not fit to stoop down and untie the thong of His sandals…

lets look at Mathew 3:11…same account…

"I baptize you with water for repentance. But after me will come one who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not fit to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.
And preached, saying, there cometh one mightier than I after me,.... From whence it appears, that John was a preacher of Jesus Christ; of the dignity of his person, the excellency of his office, and the nature and importance of his work:
the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to stoop down and unloose; expressing the great veneration he had for him, and the great sense he had of his own unworthiness, to be concerned in the lowest and meanest service of life for him; and that he was far from being worthy of the high honour done him, to be his messenger and forerunner;
…I did not in any way see Mohammed name mentioned there… Huh?

Why is it that they are still producing the old testament if you are living in the new testament covenant?."

The same Bible you Islamic scholars said was erroneous...now you are using it as a bed rock for your claims...what a contradiction

These are not concrete reasons that you promise to bring. If you really read my statements you will find out that your reasons are not enough.  You insist on seeing the name(Muhammad). Remember Muhammad is an Arabic word  meaning Trustworthy.

I made mention of this "The Prophet Jesus foretold the coming of another prophet, whose name would be 'Periqlytos' or 'Paraclete' or 'Paracalon' and who (that is,whose teaching) would last forever, 'I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter (Periqlytos), that he may abide with you forever.'(John XIV,16).

Qur 'an(61:6)"
that word Periqlytos mention in the bible means Ahmad in Arabic. And that is What exactly Muhammad is.
So telling me that so many people claims the prophesy is not also a reason for you to not believe with that.
Look, this is a clear Explanation for everybody to see and judge. Do not try at all cost to depend what is already known to be false.
At this I will say to you your religion and to me My own.
 Good luck but not Jonathan.haha!!

@chik001: Firstly, You did not answer the first question that I have ask which says"OK are you telling me that the old testament is not the word of god?  if it is really the word of god how manage it includes the above quotations?
Why is it that they are still producing the old testament if you are living in the new testament covenant?."
 Answer this first.
The Old Testament is the word of God...The old testament is/was included as examples and emphasis on how God dealt with people in that age...
We are called Christians (little Christs) because we live the New Testament usher in by the teachings of Christ...which is a fulfillment of the Old Testament.

Christ words:
"Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I didn't come to destroy them, but to fulfill them...Mathew 5:17

@Abduul
Thats where yous contradict yourselves...You say the Bible is false...but you guys use it to prove the prophethood of Mohammed...
As far as we are concerned...Mohammed is NOT mentioned in The Holy Bible...especially The New Testament...
Thousands of prophets came after Jesus The Christ...and they all claim the same thing (being mentioned in the Bible)...that shows the value of The Christian Bible...

Qur'an [5:15-16]

who is mohammed? where was he born and who gave birth to him? besides, what is the meaning of mohammed u all claim to be ....
you all have to amend your ways and stop saying useless words that doesn't make sense here.

Jesus, The Mercy of God : The Qu'ran speaks of Jesus. This message is especially for Muslims who desire to know the truth.

Jesus/Isa (pbuh) was talking to Israelites in the context of Surah 61:6 of the coming Rasul named Ahmad who will also be sent to the Israelites. There is NO mention of the Ishmaelites, Arabs or Quraishites in Surah 61:6….AN ISRAELITE RASUL IS ANTICIPATED! The name Ahmad and not Muhammad was given. The meaning of both names are different and also antithetical-Ahmad means "one who gives praise" and Muhammad means "one who receives praise or praiseworthy"! According to Dr. Muhammad Muhsin Khan and Dr. Muhammad Taqi ud Din Al-Hilali, The Noble Quran, pg. 790, "the second name of Muhammad and it (Ahmad) literally meaning "One who praises Allah more than others."

JESUS/ISA (pbuh), the Mercy of God:
A Plea for Sanity, a Plea for True Change

By Ma RG

(Assalaamu’laikum wa Rahmatulaahi wa Barakaatuh)

The tragedy of the recent week is still fresh in our minds (The Attack on the World Trade Center NY), and all throughout the world people must deal with the fear and uncertainty of the coming weeks. The stark reality is the specter of death itself, and that anyone of us could have been one of those innocent victims on an airplane, at the office, regardless of race, creed, or color, our children, even me.

My prayer as I write this article is for true reconciliation and true understanding to be established between Muslims, Jews, and Christians for the future days ahead. One can only hope that a paradigm transformation can be born out of this time which will bring forth God/Allah’s SWT mercy and loving compassion in a fresh way.

Peace be upon us as we seek sanity in the midst of insanity. Peace be upon us as we seek to know better the One true God/Allah who is closer than the vein in our neck. Peace be unto us as we seek to know the Unity of the Spirit in the bond of Peace that passes all understanding and guards our hearts and minds.

God/Allah SWT desires that we seriously study these things, for He has the authority to put us in Heaven or sentence us to Hell, based on His justice. Though God/Allah SWT has inscribed the rule of Mercy as an attribute above all others being called Ar’ Rahmanir Rahim (the Most Merciful and Compassionate One), so He has warned us to watch and prepare at all times for the coming of death and the Kiamat (Day of Judgment). All men are appointed to die once and then face the Day in which we all must give an account to our Creator for the choices we have made or failed to make in our time on earth.

"Nay, Allah raised (rafa’a) him up (Jesus/Isa,pbuh) unto Himself; and Allah is exalted in Power, Wise.
"(Qu’ran (Al Nisa) 4:158).

According to both Muslims and Christians, Jesus/Isa (pbuh) is His "Sign unto men and a Mercy from us" Qu’ran 19 Maryam 19:21, …"whose Name is the Messiah, illustrious in this world and in the Hereafter." (Qu’ran 3 Al Imran 45), for Jesus/Isa is the UnCreated Word of God/Allah "…an Apostle (Rasul) of Allah, and His Word (Kalimatuhu), which He bestowed on Mary, and a Spirit proceeding from Him (Ruhu minh)" (Qu’ran Al Nisa 4:171).

Why would Jesus/Isa (pbuh) alone be given by God/Allah SWT the title of Messiah (al-Masih), over eleven times in the Qu’ran? Why would Jesus/Isa (pbuh) alone then be given the title of His Word (Kalimatuhu)?

Jesus/Isa (pbuh) is further called "…a Word from Him (Kalimatim min hus)" (Qu’ran Ali Imran 3:45), and again "…a Word from Allah (Kalimatim minallaahi)" (Qu’ran Ali Imran 3:39).

"…(Jesus)Isa is Roh-ul-Lah (The Spirit of Allah), Rasullah (The Messenger of Allah) and Kalimatullah (the Word of Allah)." (Anas bin Malik hal: 72. Qs 4 An Nisaa’ 171).

As the Ahl al Kitab (People of the Book), Christians take every word God says seriously, and they have no need to exaggerate the greatness of the Messiah, for God/Allah SWT Himself lifts Jesus/Isa (pbuh) high above all other names!

The divine mission of Jesus/Isa (pbuh) has never ended, for Jesus/Isa is the UnCreated Word, the everLiving Messiah and Rasul, living Today. The Day of Judgment has been given into his hands alone by God/Allah SWT for ALL MANKIND!

When we pray, we ask God/Allah SWT, to "Show us the Straight Path" (Qu’ran 1 Al-Fatihah 6. Jesus/Isa (pbuh) is that Straight Path to be followed! "And (Jesus) shall be a Sign (for the coming of) the Hour (of Judgment): Therefore have NO DOUBT about the (Hour) but follow ye Me: This is the Straight Way." (Qu’ran 43 Az Zukhrut 61).

In Surah 19:19, Jesus/Isa (pbuh) alone is called a Sinless One in all the Qu’ran!

He is called "holy" (zakiy-pure, sinless) son (Ghulam (youth or young man). Some Muslim scholars would argue that "zakiy ghulam" means that all infants born are sinless, hence attempting to resolve the problem of a "once in all history" birth of the Sinless Jesus, but this cannot hold up to a careful look. The word used here "Ghulam" meaning youth or young man is similar to that used in Surah 18:74 (a slain youth by Al Khidr), v.80 (rebellious youth), vs.82 (two orphans youth attaining their age of full strength to claim hidden treasure under the wall). To avoid confusion, another word "Tifl" meaning "little children or infants" as in Surah 22:5, 40:67 should have been used in Surah 19:19 if only those below the age of accountability is intended!

My friend, use the mind God/Allah SWT has given you! Why was Jesus/Isa (pbuh) protected from Satan? (Surah 3:36), and "Blessed (Mubarakan) wheresoever he be." (Surah 19:31)? Only Jesus/Isa (pbuh) is able to be in the Presence of God (Surah 4:158) after his ascension without being pulverized like the mountain when God appeared to Moses (Surah 7:143).

Truly, Moses (pbuh) pointed forward to Jesus/Isa as the UnCreated Word of God, the Messiah, the Sinless One, the everLiving One Today. Jesus/Isa (pbuh) was born of a virgin, "The Word became flesh" (Gospel/Injil John 1:14), and dwelt on earth as a once in all history Miracle working Man? Why?

Just as Moses (pbuh) pointed forward to Jesus/Isa (pbuh) in History, Muhammad (pbuh) pointed back in History to the "Center of All History and Judgment on All Mankind", for Muhammad was supposed to be only a Warner (Nazir), to Seal the Truth that Jesus/Isa is the Messiah, the UnCreated Word of God!

Jesus/Isa (pbuh) was sent by God/Allah SWT not just to the Jewish people, but rather to the Entire World in every Age of Mankind, for he is the Judge!

"All authority has been given to Me (Jesus/Isa) in heaven and on the earth, GO, therefore and make disciples of ALL NATIONS (ethnos/tribes and peoples including Arabs), baptizing them in the name of the Father (God/Allah SWT), the Son (the Kalimatuhu,UnCreated Word of God born Sinless of a virgin), and the Holy Spirit (Ruhuminh), teaching them to observe ALL THINGS whatever I have commanded you, and behold, I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS, even to the end of the age." (Gospel/Injil, Matthew 28: 18-20).

God/Allah’s Word is ETERNAL! He has an Eternal Plan for the Ages, "…that in the ages to come, He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness towards us through Jesus/Isa, the Messiah, …for God, who is rich in MERCY, made us alive with the Messiah, even when we were dead in sin, it is by grace you have been saved and God/Allah raised us up with the Messiah, and seated us with him in Heavenly Realms (present tense) in Jesus the Messiah." (Injil/Ephesians 2:4-7).

Therefore, since Jesus/Isa (pbuh) is more than just a Prophet, but rather the Eternal UnCreated Word of God/Allah SWT, his Position and Authority is Eternal as well! In the Taruat/Old Testament, the book of Isaiah (pbuh), we find the prophecy of Jesus/Isa (pbuh) written hundreds of years before both the Injil and the Qu’ran saying,

"Therefore, the Lord Himself shall give you a Sign, BEHOLD, A VIRGIN SHALL CONCEIVE AND BEAR A SON, AND SHALL CALL HIS NAME IMMANUEL (meaning God/Allah SWT with us). (Taruat/ Isaiah 7:14). Then in the following chapters it speaks of this son saying, "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace, of the increase of his government and peace there shall be NO END!" (Taruat/ Isaiah 9:6,7).

Think of the implications of what the Word of God/Allah says, the Government that Jesus/Isa (pbuh) MUST increase and never, never, never, never, End.

In the Qu’ran, are you asked to OBEY any other than God/Allah SWT? To the One we OBEY, then He is Lord! In the Qu’ran, Jesus/Isa (pbuh) says, "(I have come to you) To attest the Law (Taruat) which was before me, and to make lawful to you part of what was (before) forbidden to you; I have come to you with a Sign from the Lord, SO FEAR GOD/ALLAH and OBEY ME!" (Surah 3:50).

In Truth, who is the Last Prophet? If Jesus/Isa (pbuh) is the Eternal UnCreated Word of God, living Forever speaking for God/Allah, Judging in the Judgment upon ALL MANKIND, both Christian and Muslim, chronologically, who is Last?

You must have the courage to answer this between you and God/Allah SWT.

Jesus/Isa (pbuh) is not the forerunner preparing the way for Islam, for he is the UnCreated Word of God, "Jesus Christ (the Messiah, Anointed One), is the same yesterday, and today, and forever." (Injil/ Hebrews 13:Cool.

"And remember, Jesus, the son of Mary, said: O Children of Israel I am the Apostle of Allah (sent) to you confirming the Law (which came/Taraut/Old Testament) before me, and giving glad tidings of an Apostle to come after me, whose name shall be Ahmad" (Qu’ran, Surah 61:6).

Sahih al-Bukhari vol. 6, pg. 488 states Surah 61:6 is a variant reading and the name "Ahmad or "Muhammad" was not stipulated but ONLY AN UNNAMED PROPHET was given: "O Children of Israel, I am God’s Messenger to you and I announce to you a prophet whose community will be the last community and by which God will put the seal of the prophets and messengers".

This prophecy is apparently by the Muslim scholars own admission not a clear Sign (Ayat) of God/Allah SWT. This is not consistent with the claim in Surah 2:1, "This is the Book in its guidance, sure and without doubt, to those who fear Allah."

Therefore, who is Jesus/Isa (pbuh) speaking of in Surah 61:6? Perhaps, the Apostle Paul! This Israelite terrorist of the Christians had a personal revelation of Jesus, who commissioned him to take the everlasting Gospel to ALL NATIONS!

First, the Apostle Paul went to his fellow Jews, and then later was directed to go to the unbelievers. Paul faithfully preached to all the Greek, Roman and ARAB world! Yes, turn to the Injil, New Testament in Galatians 1: 13-17 and see!

"For you have heard of my previous way of life in Judaism, how intensely I persecuted the church of God and tried to destroy it. I was advancing in Judaism beyond many Jews my own age and was extremely zealous for the traditions of my fathers. But when God, who set me apart from birth and called me by his grace, was pleased to reveal his Son in me that I might preach him among the Gentiles, I did not consult any man, nor did I go up to Jerusalem to see those who were apostles before I was, but I went immediately into ARABIA and later returned to Damascus."(Injil/ Galatians 1:13-17), see also Injil/Acts 9:1-31, 21:40-22:1-21.

Paul the Apostle was fluent in Aramaic and was said to spend up to 12 years in Arabia teaching about Jesus/Isa (pbuh) and warning people to turn to God from darkness, so its seems strange to see it said in the Qu’ran of Muhammad (pbuh),

"To give warning to a people to whom No Warner (Nazir) had come before thee." (Qu’ran Surah 28:46 (32:3). Is it not true that there were many Christians throughout the Middle East by the time of Muhammad (pbuh)?

Some may try to dismiss everything by saying the Injil (New Testament), Zabur, (Psalms), and Taurat (Old Testament) are all corrupted by men, yet they are truly Ignorant . The Qu’ran teaches the Bible is the Word of God/Allah SWT and can never be corrupted, changed or altered!

The Qu’ran says, "And in their footsteps We sent Jesus, the son of Mary, confirming the Law that had come before him: We sent him the Gospel: therein was Guidance, and Light and Confirmation of the Law that had come before him: a Guidance and an admonition to those who fear God. Let the People of the Gospel judge by what God hath revealed therein." (Surah 5:46-47).

"..No change can there be in the Words of God." (Surah 10:65).

"…there is None that can alter the Words (and decrees) of God." (Surah 6:34).

Baizawi says on this verse, "There is no altering His sayings, and there is no breach of His promises." Therefore, many stand quilty before God/Allah on the Day of Judgment for rejecting the truth of their own Books, and will be labeled as without religion (kafirs). Jesus/Isa (pbuh) is the Eternally Living Prophet, yes, much more than a Prophet, the Eternal Word of God/Allah, therefore, his Word is UnChanging and Authoritative yesterday, today and forever speaking to every dispute God/Allah’s SWT divine answers!

"Such (was/is) Jesus the son of Mary: (it is) a statement of Truth, about which they (vainly) dispute." (Qu’ran 19 Maryam 34).

"Laa mahdiyan illa Isabnu Maryam" "There is no Imam Mahdi (Fully Guided Intercessor) except Jesus the Son of Mary." (Hadiths Ibnu Majah)

Do you honor Jesus/Isa (pbuh) as "God/Allah’s Word" (Qu’ran 4 An Nisa 171), and "a Sign for all Peoples"? (Qu’ran 21 Al Aanbiyaa 91). Do you wish to honor this one who is "nearest to Allah" both now and in the hereafter? (Qu’ran 3 Aali Imram 45). God/Allah SWT is the Protector of His Word and He will protect you as well if you trust in Him today through the name of Jesus/Isa!

"Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved." (Injil/ Acts 4:12).

First, do you believe? "And this is his command: to believe in the name of his son, Jesus the Messiah(Christ), and to love one another as he commanded us." (Injil/ I John 3:23-24) "Those who obey his commands live in him, and he in them."(vs. 24).

"For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved." (Injil/ Romans 10:10).

The prayer of Muhammad (pbuh) before his death: "Oh God, forgive me, have mercy upon me and contact me to the Most High Friend." (Hadiths Shahih Bukari 1573). Then he lifted up his hand saying, "The Most High Friend.", then his hand laid down and he passed away. (Bukari 1574).

Who is this Most High Friend, Muhammad (pbuh) called upon at his death? "I am closer to Jesus the son of Mary in this earth and heaven." (Hadiths Shahih Bukari 1501). Yes, the Most High Friend whom Muhammad called upon in his last moments was Jesus/Isa (pbuh)!

I plead with you today in a world that has lost much of its sanity to consider this:

It is not an accident that your eyes have found this article, God/Allah has directed you to look at this today!

"Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts, as you did in the rebellion." (Injil/ Hebrews 3:15).

Secondly, I plead with you by the Mercy of God, to repent and change the direction you have been going, admit the wrong thinking and doing of your life, fear God/Allah SWT, and Obey Jesus/Isa (pbuh)!

"God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble, Submit yourselves then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come near to God and He will come near to you. Wash your hands you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Grieve, mourn and wail. Change your laughter to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will lift you up." (Injil/ James 4:7-10).

Real change of heart leads to clear change of actions. Our motive for doing what is right cannot be just based on good works, its deeper, our motive is gratitude. (6)

"So Peace is on me the day I (Jesus) was born, the day that I die, and the day I shall be raised up to Life (again)" (Qu’ran 19 Maryam 33).

"Behold! God said: "O Jesus! Will take thee and raise thee to myself and clear thee (of the falsehoods) of those who blaspheme; I will make those who follow thee superior to those who reject faith, to the Day of Resurrection…" (Qu’ran 3 Aali Imraan 55).

"That they (unbelieving Jews) said (in boast) "We killed (qatal)( al Masih Isa) Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Apostle of Allah," but they killed him not (wa maa qataluuhu), nor crucified him (wa maa salabuuhu), but so it was to appear to them (wa laakin shubbiha lahum), and those who differ therein are full of doubts (Shakk) with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for a surety-They killed him not (wa maa qataluuhu yaqiina)." (Qu’ran Surah 4:157).

Thirdly, Jesus/Isa (pbuh) came to earth as a sinless child for One Divine Purpose, to fulfill prophecy and SUBMIT TO GOD willingly His life as a Sacrifice for the sin of Mankind Once and for all time, so that all Mankind can be brought into a true relationship with God/Allah SWT as a "Sign to ALL PEOPLES".

Though the Jews might have mockingly boasted that they killed Jesus/Isa (pbuh), in truth, they did not, for they only instigated the Romans to actually crucify him.  The Roman soldiers were experts at the torture of crucifying people. If they failed to execute the person, especially the right person, the penalty was that they would die for the failure! They always finished the job by thrusting a spear through the victims side to pierce their heart. Secular historians verify that there was no controversy about the death of Jesus/Isa (pbuh). (Injil/ see John 18 & Matthew 27:64). (Josephus/Tacitus) His enemies admit his death. Will you?

The Ignorant have veiled the truth of the death/burial and resurrection of Jesus/Isa (pbuh), by classifying it as a mutashahihat verse, i.e. "a verse in which it is something known only to Allah". The Injil/Gospel (New Testament) is very clear, and "cannot be changed" (Surah 10:65). No wonder, Muhammad had been told to consult the Christians whenever he was in doubt. "If thou (Muhammad) wert in doubt (shakk) as to what We have revealed unto thee, then ask those who have been reading the Book (Bible) from before thee." (Surah 10:94).

Study the Taraut (Old Testament) prophecies of the death of Jesus/Isa (pbuh), in Isaiah 50:4-10, 52:13-54:12, 61:1-11, the Zabur, Psalms 22:1-31, 34:20, 69:21, Zechariah 12:10-13:1, and compare them to the events in the Gospel/Injil/ (New Testament). These detailed prophecies were made hundreds of years before their fulfillment, and the fact that they were fulfilled in detail shows God/Allah’s SWT miraculous Sign for All Peoples!

The clear Signs of the Most High Friend (Jesus/Isa (pbuh), reveal the Siratul Mustaqiim (Straight Way) clearly for all mankind to follow.

"To Jesus, son of Mary we gave Clear Signs and strengthened Him with the Holy Spirit…Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from error…" (Qu’ran 2 Al Baqarah 253, 256).

Perhaps in religion, we have followed the traditional ways of man more than the miraculous ways of God/Allah SWT. Those who reject other ways so as to obey the clear signs of Jesus/Isa (pbuh) are following the gracious guidance of God/Allah SWT. They are always prepared for death and the Kiamat. They have deep assurance of entering Heaven because they take refuge in the pure Holiness of the Most High Friend. Do you wish to have this assurance? Do you wish to be free from guilt because you have decided not to rely on human guidance, or to depend on the limited goodness of your own deeds?

"…whoever…believes in Allah has grasped the most trustworthy Hand-hold that never breaks." (Qu’ran 2 Al Baqarah 256).

This famous Ayat ul Kursi is clear when we look at ayat 253: We have security when we believe in the Clear Signs of Isa (Jesus) (pbuh) and the Prophets:

As Roh-ul-Lah, Jesus/Isa (pbuh) is the untainted UnCreated Word, without any form of impurity. Only in his holiness can mankind take His Handhold and make contact with God/Allah SWT, the Holy One, Spirit to spirit. As Roh-ul-Lah, He touches the sick with compassion and the healing power of God/Allah SWT.

In order to create true Love, God/Allah SWT created true Choice, one cannot have one without the other. Yet, once you choose to risk all and submit to Him through the divine Way He provided by Jesus/Isa (pbuh) death, burial, and resurrection. He promises to Raise You to the NEW Life free from sins torment, with power to overcome any test by His strengthening Spirit, and His faithful promise to Hold you Most securely forever as you walk faithfully with Him!

"My sheep listen to my (Jesus/Isa) voice; I know them and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given then to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. I and my Father are one." (Injil/ John 10:27-30).

Through life and death, we can have this lasting Peace if we believe in the miracle (muzzizah) Sign of God/Allah SWT Ta’ala about life and death.

In Surah Al Imran, ayat 55, Allah SWT, the Owner of the Day of Judgment, took back (the life of) Jesus/Isa, raised him back to Himself.

God/Allah SWT clears Isa (pbuh) of all charges, and rewards highly those who have Faith in the Korban of Isa (pbuh). Inshah Allah, When we take refuge in the Korban sacrifice of Jesus/Isa (pbuh), God/Allah SWT clears us and miraculously raises us to Heavenly places with Him. Al Hamdu’illah!

Can you cry out in the same way as others to our Most High Friend?

Pray now saying:

"Allahumma" (O God/Allah),

"Astafirullah" (forgive my sins) I reject all other ways to save myself and I trust Your Korban Sign in Jesus/Isa (pbuh) to save me on the Kiamat. I receive only your Way. Thank you for your precious Mercy to me. Amin

Jesus/Isa (pbuh) predicted the complete destruction of the Jewish Temple in AD 70, forever setting aside true Old Testament Judaism (only Zionism exists today).

In the Injil/Acts 2:11, when the Gospel of Salvation in Jesus/Isa (pbuh) was preached miraculously in the native tongue of every nation present, (including Arabs), they believed as you do now, and asked the question, what shall we do?

The Apostle Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized every one of you in the Name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off---for all whom the Lord our God will call. With many other words he warned them; and he pleaded with them, "Save yourselves from this corrupt generation." (Injil/ Acts 2:38-40). It says the same day 3000 people accepted the message and were baptized and many of them probably became the first Arab Christians.

God/Allah can save anyone, even the worst terrorist like Saul, became the Apostle Paul, saying, "Even though I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man, I was shown mercy because I acted in ignorance and unbelief…I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners Christ Jesus/Isa (pbuh) might display his unlimited patience as an example for those who would believe on him and receive eternal life."(Injil/ I Timothy 2:12-17).

God/Allah is calling All to Repentance, Muslims, Christians, Jews, and UnBelievers (especially who think they rule the world from the international Oil Company Offices) to a Worldwide Repentance and Reconciliation through Jesus/Isa (pbuh)!

Yes, God/Allah SWT is calling forth His Judgment upon all those who say they believe in the One True God, and then live like He doesn’t exist! He desires His faithful to honor Him now more than ever. Why? He wishes the UNBELIEVER to see the Prince of Peace rules in the hearts of men today, and that His glory can cover and change the earth just as the oceans He made.

I plead for Sanity in a World Insane, I plead for True Change in a Rebellious Day!

I plead for you to seek and turn to the Prince of Peace, Jesus/Isa (pbuh).

Prophecies Concerning Jesus Christ

Luke 24:44-45: Then He said to them, This is what I told you while I was still with you, that everything which is written concerning Me in the Law of Moses and the prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled.  Then He (thoroughly) opened up their minds to understand the Scriptures"

John 4:19- 26: The woman said to Him, Sir, I see and understand that You are a prophet. Our forefathers worshipped on this mountain, but you (Jews) say that Jerusalem is the place where it is necessary and proper to worship. Jesus said to her, Woman, believe Me, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither (merely) in this mountain nor (merely) in Jerusalem.  You (Samaritans) do not know what you are worshipping -- you worship what you do not comprehend.  We do know what we are worshipping -- we worship what we have knowledge of and understand; for (after all) salvation comes from (among) the Jews. A time will come, however, indeed it is already here, when the true (genuine) worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth (reality); for the Father is seeking just such people as these as His worshippers.  God is a Spirit (a spiritual Being) and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth (reality).  The woman said to Him, I know that Messiah is coming.  He Who is called the Christ, the Anointed One, and when He arrives He will tell us everything we need to know and make it clear to us.  Jesus said to her, I Who am now speaking with you am He.

Lineage of Jesus the Messiah

TOP

1. The Messiah would be the "Seed of a Woman."

In this very first prophecy in Scripture (spoken against Satan) God's plan of redemption can already be seen. God would bring forth a man, through the woman, who would crush Satan's power.

Prophecy: "And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring; He shall bruise and tread your head under foot, and you will lie in wait and bruise His heel" (Genesis 3:15).

Fulfillment: "But when the proper time had fully come, God sent His Son, born of a woman, born subject to (the regulations) of the Law" (Galatians 4:4).

"And she brought forth a male Child, One Who is destined to shepherd (rule) all the nations with an iron staff (scepter), and her Child was caught up to God and to His throne" (Revelation 12:5).

2. The Messiah would be the promised seed of Shem.

After the Great Flood, Noah's three sons, Shem, Ham and Japheth became the fathers of all the nations. God indicated that the Messiah would come through Shem--even before Shem had become the ancestor of Abraham, who was the father of the Hebrew nation.

Prophecy: "Blessed be the Lord, the God of Shem, and blessed by the Lord my God be Shem! And let Canaan be his servant! May God enlarge Japheth and let him dwell in the tents of Shem..." (Genesis 9: 26-27).

Fulfillment: "...the son of Shem..." (Luke 3:36).

3. The Messiah would be the Promised Seed of Abraham.

Prophecy: "Since Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed through him, and shall bless themselves by him" (Genesis 18:18).

Fulfillment: "Now the promises (covenants and agreements) were decreed and made to Abraham and his Seed (his Offspring, his Heir)...Who is (none other than) Christ, the Messiah" (Galatians 3:16).

"The book of the ancestry (genealogy) of Jesus Christ, the Messiah, the anointed, the son (descendant) of David, the son (descendant) of Abraham" (Matthew 1:1)

4. The Messiah would be the Promised Seed of Isaac.

Prophecy: "But God said, Sarah your wife shall bear you a son indeed; and you shall call his name Isaac (laughter), and I will establish My covenant or solemn pledge with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his posterity after him" (Genesis 17:19).

...It is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned" (Genesis 21: 11 NIV).

Fulfillment: "And Abraham was the father of Isaac..." (Matthew 1:2).

"For Sarah became pregnant and bore Abraham a son in her old age, at the set time God had told him" (Genesis 21:2).

5. The Messiah would be the Promised Seed of Jacob.

Prophecy: "I see Him but He is not now; I behold Him, but He is not near; a star shall come forth out of Jacob, and a scepter shall arise out of Israel and shall crush all the corners of Moab, and break down all the sons of Sheth (Moab's sons of tumult)" (Numbers 24:17).

Fulfillment: "And Isaac begat Jacob..." (Matthew 1:2)

6. The Messiah would descend from the tribe of Judah.

Prophecy: "The scepter or leadership shall not depart from Judah, nor the ruler's staff from between his feet until Shiloh (the Messiah, the Peaceful One) comes to Whom it belongs, and to Him shall be the obedience of the people" (Genesis 49:10).

"But he chose the tribe of Judah, Mount Zion, which he loved" (Psalm 78: 68 NIV).

Fulfillment: "...which was the son of Judah" (Luke 3:33).

"For it is obvious that our Lord sprang from the tribe of Judah..." (Hebrews 7:14).

"See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah...has won--has overcome and conquered!" (Revelation 5: 5)

7. The Messiah would descend from David and rule on his throne.

Prophecy: "And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots; and the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him" (Isaiah 11:1-2 KJV).

"Once for all I have sworn by My Holiness that cannot be violated, I will not lie to David: His offspring shall endure forever, and his throne (shall continue) as the sun before Me" (Psalm 89:35-36).

"Of the increase of His government and of peace, there shall be no end, upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from that latter time forth, even for evermore. The zeal of the Lord of Hosts will perform this" (Isaiah 9:7)

Fulfillment: " A record of the genealogy of Jesus Christ the Son of David..." (Matthew 1:1).

"The Lord God shall give unto to Him the throne of his father, David" (Luke 1:32 KJV).

"I am the root and the offspring of David" (Revelation 22:16).

8. The Messiah would be born of a Virgin.

Prophecy: "Therefore the Lord Himself shall give you a sign, Behold, the young woman who is unmarried and a virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel--God with us (Isaiah 7:14).

Fulfillment: "Now the birth of Jesus Christ took place under these circumstances: When His mother Mary had been promised in marriage to Joseph, before they came together she was found to be pregnant (through the power) of the Holy Spirit" (Matthew 1:18).

4. The Messiah would proclaim God's messages.

Prophecy: "Then said I, Lo, I come; in the volume of the book it is written of me...I have proclaimed glad tidings of righteousness in the great assembly--tidings of uprightness and right standing with God. Lo, I have not restrained my lips, as You know, O Lord" (Psalm 40:7,9).

"The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed and qualified me to preach the Gospel of good tidings to the meek, the poor and afflicted..." (Isaiah 61:1a).

Fulfillment: "And there was handed to Him (the roll of) the book of the prophet Isaiah. He opened (unrolled) the book, and found the place where it was written, The Spirit of the Lord (is) upon Me, because He has anointed Me (the Anointed One, the Messiah) to preach the good news (the Gospel) to the poor; he has sent me to announce release to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind; to send forth delivered those who are oppressed--who are downtrodden, bruised, crushed, and broken by calamity; To proclaim the accepted and acceptable year of the Lord--the day when salvation and the free favors of God profusely abound. The He rolled up the book, and gave it back to the attendant and sat down; and the eyes of all in the synagogue were gazing (attentively) at Him. And He began to speak to them: Today this Scripture has been fulfilled while you are present and hearing" (Luke 4:17-21).

"Soon afterward (Jesus) went on through towns and villages, preaching and bringing the good news (the Gospel) of the kingdom of God" (Luke 8:1a).

5. The Messiah would be a teacher.

Prophecy: "The Sovereign Lord has given me an instructed tongue to know the word that sustains the weary. He wakens me morning by morning, wakens my ear to listen like one being taught" (Isaiah 50:4, NIV).

Fulfillment: "And he told them many things in parables--that is, stories by way of illustration..." (Matthew 13:3a).

7. The Messiah would be a miracle-worker.

Prophecy: "Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped; then shall the lame man leap like a hart, and the tongue of the dumb shall sing for joy; for waters shall break forth in the wilderness, and streams in the desert" (Isaiah 35:5-6).

Fulfillment: (They) asked Him, are You He Who was to come, or should we keep on expecting a different one? And Jesus replied to them, Go and report to John what you hear and see: The blind receive their sight, the lame walk, lepers are cleansed (by healing), and the deaf hear, and the dead are raised up, and the poor have good news (the Gospel) preached to them" (Matthew 11:3-5).

8. The Messiah would bear our grief and sorrows.

Prophecy: "Surely He has borne our griefs--sickness, weakness, and distress--and carried our sorrows and pain (of punishment). Yet we ignorantly considered Him stricken, smitten and afflicted by God (as if with leprosy). But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement needful to obtain peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes that wounded Him we are healed and made whole" (Isaiah 53:4-5).

Fulfillment: "When evening came, they brought to Him many who were under the power of demons, and He drove out the spirits with a word, and restored to health all who were sick; and thus He fulfilled what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah, He Himself took (in order to carry away) our weaknesses and infirmities and bore away our diseases: (Matthew 8:16-17).

9. The Messiah Would be Rejected by His people.

Prophecy: "He...makes intercession for the transgressors--the rebellious" (Isaiah 53:12b).

Fulfillment: "He went up into a mountain to pray, and spent the whole night in prayer to God" (Luke 6:12).

"In the days of His flesh (Jesus) offered up definite, special petitions...with strong crying and tears, to Him Who was (always) able to save Him (out) from death, and He was heard because of His reverence toward God--His godly fear, His piety (that is, in that He shrank from the horrors of separation from the bright presence of the Father) (Hebrews 5:7).

"He is always living to make petition to God and intercede with Him and intervene for them" (Hebrews 7:25b).

12. The Messiah would be praised while riding the colt of a donkey.

Prophecy: "Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout aloud, O daughter of Jerusalem! Lo, your King comes to you; He is (uncompromisingly) just, and having salvation--triumphant and victorious; patient, meek, lowly, and riding on a donkey, upon a colt, the foal of a donkey" (Zechariah 9:9).

Fulfillment: "The next day a vast crowd of those who had come to the Passover Feast heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem. So they took branches of palm trees and went out to meet Him. And as they went, they kept shouting, Hosanna! Blessed is He and praise to Him Who comes in the name of the Lord, even the King of Israel! And Jesus, having found a young donkey, rode upon it (just) as it is written in the Scriptures, Do not fear, O daughter of Zion! Look! Your King is coming, sitting on a donkey's colt" (John 12:12-15).

Death of Jesus the Messiah

TOP

Of the earthly life of Christ, there are more prophecies concerning His death than any other subject. His substitutionary death was the main purpose for His time on earth. For this reason, the prophets of old were prophetically shown great details involving the suffering of the Messiah, so that the specific ways in which they were fulfilled could not be denied.

1. The Messiah would be betrayed by a friend.

Prophecy: "Even my own familiar friend in whom I trusted (relied on and was confident), who ate of my bread, has lifted up his heel against me" (Psalm 41:9).

"For it is not an enemy who reproaches and taunts me; then I might bear it...But it was you, a man my equal, my companion and my familiar friend; we had sweet fellowship together, and used to walk to the house of God in company" (Psalm 55:12-14).

Fulfillment: "He replied, He who has just dipped his hand in the same dish with Me will betray Me!" (Matthew 26:21).

"...But it is that the scripture may be fulfilled, he who eats (his) bread with Me has raised up his heel against Me...After Jesus had said these things, He was troubled (disturbed, agitated) in spirit, and said, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you that one of you will deliver Me up--be false to me and betray Me!" (John 13:18,21).

2. The Messiah would be sold for thirty pieces of silver.

Prophecy: "...So they weighed out for my price thirty pieces of silver" (Zechariah 11:12b).

Fulfillment: "And said, What are you willing to give me if I hand Him over to you? And they weighed out and paid him thirty pieces of silver" (Matthew 26:15).

3. The thirty pieces of silver would be returned for a potter's field.

Prophecy: "And the Lord said to me, Cast it to the potter (as if He said, To the dogs!), the munificently miserable sum at which I (and My shepherd) am priced by them! And I (Zechariah) took the thirty pieces of silver and cast them to the potter in the house of the Lord" (Zechariah 11:13).

Fulfillment: "And casting the pieces of silver (forward) into the holy place of the sanctuary of the temple, he (Judas) departed and went off and he hanged himself. But the chief priests, picking up the pieces of silver, said, It is not legal to put these in the (consecrated) treasury, for it is the price of blood. So after consultation they bought with them the potter's field in which to bury strangers" (Matthew 27:5-7).

4. The Messiah would be forsaken by His disciples.

Prophecy: "Smite the Shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered..." (Zechariah 13:7a).

Fulfillment: "And Jesus said to them, You will all fall away this night--(that is,) you will be caused to stumble and will begin to distrust and desert Me; for it stands written, I will strike the shepherd and the sheep will be scattered" (Mark 14: 27).

5. The Messiah would be accused by false witnesses.

Prophecy: "Malicious and unrighteous witnesses rise up; they ask me of things that I know not" (Psalm 35:11).

"For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of deceit are opened against me, they have spoken to me and against me with a lying tongue" (Psalm 109:2).

Fulfillment: "Now the chief priests and the whole council (the Sanhedrin) sought to get false witnesses to testify against Jesus..." (Matthew 26:59a).

6. The Messiah would be silent before his accusers.

Prophecy: "He was oppressed, yet when He was afflicted He was submissive and opened not his mouth; as a lamb that is led to the slaughter, and as a sheep that before her shearers is dumb, so he opened not His mouth" (Isaiah 53:7).

"But I, like a deaf man, hear not; and I am like a dumb man who opens not his mouth. Yes, I have become like a man who hears not, in whose mouth are no arguments or replies" (Psalm 38:13-14).

Fulfillment: "But when the charges were made against Him by the chief priests and the elders, he made no answer...He made no reply to him, not even to a single accusation, so that the governor marveled greatly..." (Matthew 27:2,14).

"When He was reviled and insulted, He did not revile or offer insult in return; (when) He was abused and suffered, He made no threats of (vengeance); but He trusted (Himself and everything) to Him who judges fairly" (1 Peter 2:23).

7. The Messiah would be smitten across the face.

Prophecy: "Smite the Shepherd..." (Zechariah 13:7).

"They shall smite the ruler of Israel with a rod--a scepter--on the cheek" (Micah 5:1).

Fulfillment: "And they took the reed-staff and struck Him on the head" (Matthew 27:30).

"Then they...struck Him with their fists; and some slapped Him in the face" (Matthew 26:67).

8. The Messiah would be spat upon.

Prophecy: "I gave My...cheeks to those who plucked off the hair; I hid not my face from shame and spitting" (Isaiah 50:6).

Fulfillment: "Then they spat in his face, and struck him with their fists; and some slapped Him in the face, Saying, Prophesy to us, You Christ, the Messiah! Who was it that struck you?" (Matthew 26:67-68).

"And they spat on Him" (Matthew 27:30).

9. The Messiah would be whipped on the back.

Prophecy: "I gave My back to the smiters..." (Isaiah 50:6)

Fulfillment: "So Pilate, wishing to satisfy the crowd, set Barabbas free for them; and after having whipped Jesus, he handed (Him) over to be crucified" (Mark 15:15).

10. The Messiah's body would be disfigured.

Prophecy: "(For many, the Servant of God became an object of horror; many were astonished.) His face and His whole appearance were marred more than any man's, and His form beyond that of the sons of men" (Isaiah 52:14).

Fulfillment: This above verse gives us a picture of what Jesus must have looked like before He was nailed to the cross, as well as during His time on the cross when His bones became out of joint. The following excerpt is taken from "All the Messianic Prophecies of the Bible"  by Herbert Lockyer (Zondervan):

"His bruised and swollen face the smiting with the reed produced must have looked more terrible when, after the crown of thorns had been pressed onto His forehead, the oozing blood made Him a pitiable sight to behold, blindfolded as he was (Luke 22:64)."

11. The Messiah Would be Pierced in His Hands and Feet.

Written a thousand years before Christ was born, Psalm 22 reveals the manner of death the Messiah would die. David had never heard of crucifixion, as it was not a practice in Israel at that time. Nevertheless, David writes of piercing the hands and feet, the bones out of joint, the terrible thirst, the body openly displayed, and many other aspects of the crucifixion that Jesus would suffer.

Prophecy: "For (like a pack of dogs) they have encompassed me; a company of evildoers has encircled me, they pierced my hands and my feet" (Psalm 22:16).

Fulfillment: "Then He said to Thomas, Reach out your finger here and see My hands; and put out your hand and place (it) in my side" (John 20:27).

12. The Messiah's body would be pierced.

Prophecy: "...And they shall look (earnestly) upon Me Whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for Him as one mourns for His only son, and shall be in bitterness for Him as one who is in bitterness for his first-born" (Zechariah 12:10b).

Fulfillment: "But one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear..." (John 19:34).

"And again, another Scripture says, They shall look upon Him whom they have pierced" (John 19:37).

13. The Messiah would be killed alongside the guilty.

Prophecy: "And they assigned him a grave with the wicked...and He let Himself be regarded as a criminal and be numbered with the transgressors" (Isaiah 53:9a,12b).

Fulfillment: "And with him they crucified two robbers, one on (His) right hand and one His left. And the scripture was fulfilled which says, He was counted among the transgressors" (Mark 15:27-28).

14. The Messiah would pray for His persecutors.

Prophecy: "He...made intercession for the transgressors" (Isaiah 53:12).

"In return for my love they are my adversaries; but I resort to prayer" (Psalm 109:4).

Fulfillment: "And Jesus prayed, Father forgive them for they know not what they do" (Luke 23:34).

15. The Messiah would be the object of ridicule.

Prophecy: "I am also become a taunt and a reproach to others; when they see me they shake their heads" (Psalm 109: 25).

"All who see me laugh at me and mock me; they shoot out the lip, they shake the head saying, he trusted and rolled himself on the Lord, that He would deliver him.  Let Him deliver him, seeing He delights in him!" (Psalm 22: 7-8).

"As with a sword (crushing) in my bones, my enemies taunt and reproach me; while they say continually to me, Where is your God?" (Psalm 42:10).

"He said to them, You will doubtless quote to me this proverb, Physician, heal Yourself!" (Luke 4: 23a).

Fulfillment: "And those who passed by spoke reproachfully and abusively and jeered at Him, wagging their heads" (Matthew 27:39).

"In the same way the chief priests with the scribes and elders made sport of Him saying,...He trusts in God; let God deliver Him now, if He cares for Him and will (have Him), for He said, I am the son of God" (Matthew 27:41,43).

"And those who passed by kept reviling Him and reproaching Him abusively in harsh and insolent language, wagging their heads and saying, Aha! You who would destroy the temple and build it in three days, now rescue Yourself (from death) coming down from the cross. So also the chief priests with the scribes made sport of Him to one another, saying, He rescued others (from death); Himself He is unable to rescue" (Mark 15:29-31).

"Those who were crucified with Him also reviled and reproached Him--speaking abusively, harshly, and insolently" (Mark 15:32).

"...The rulers scoffed and sneered (turned up their noses) at Him, saying, He rescued others (from death), let Him now rescue Himself, if He is the Christ, the Messiah of God, His Chosen One! The soldiers also ridiculed and made sport of Him..." (Luke 23:35,36a).

16. The Garments of the Messiah were to be gambled for.

Contrary to popular paintings depicting Jesus wearing a loincloth as He hung on the cross, He most likely hung there absolutely naked, as the soldiers gambled for His inner and outer garments beneath the cross. This exquisite detail of David's prophecy is a highlight of the amazing accuracy of his prophetic picture of the crucifixion scene in Psalm 22.

Prophecy: "They part my clothing among them, and cast lots from my raiment (a long shirt-like garment, a seamless undertunic)" (Psalm 22:18).

Fulfillment: "...Then the soldiers when they had crucified Jesus took His garments and made four parts, one share for each soldier, and also the tunic (the long shirt-like undergarment). But the tunic was seamless, woven from top to bottom throughout. So they said to one another, Let us not tear it, but let us cast lots to decide whose it shall be. This was to fulfill the Scripture, They parted My garments among them and for My clothing they cast lots. So the soldiers did these things" (John 19: 23-24).

17. The Messiah would be publicly gazed and gaped at.

Prophecy: "I can count all my bones; (the evildoers) gaze at me" (Psalm 22:17).

"...just as many were astonished at Him..." (Isaiah 52:14b).

Fulfillment: "Then they sat down there and kept watch over Him" (Matthew 27:36).

"Now the people stood by, (calmly and leisurely) watching" (Luke 23:35a).

18. The Messiah would be deserted by God.

The face of God was turned--not so much from His Only Begotten Son in Whom He delighted, but in all the sin of all humanity who has ever lived, piled up on one Person. He literally took our sin and made it His sin.  He totally identified with it, and took all upon Himself, as if He, Himself was the one who did it.  All of the world's rebellion, arrogance, cowardliness, hatred, and hypocrisy were piled on Him.   The sight was so filthy that God turned His head away.  Surely this was the pinnacle of the suffering which Jesus endured on the cross.

Prophecy: "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" (Psalm 22:1).

Fulfillment: "Jesus cried with a loud voice, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is, My God, My God, why have You abandoned Me?" (Matthew 27:46).

19. The Messiah would agonize with thirst.

Prophecy: "(With thirst) my tongue cleaves to my jaws" (Psalm 22:15).

"They also gave me gall (poisonous and bitter) for my food, and in my thirst they gave me vinegar (a soured wine) to drink" (Psalm 69:  21).

"My throat is parched" (Psalm 69:  3).

Fulfillment: "After this, Jesus, knowing that all was now finished (ended), said in fulfillment of the Scripture, I thirst" (John 19: 28).

"They offered Him wine mingled with gall to drink, but when He tasted it, He refused to drink it" (Matthew 27: 3 ,4).

"And one of them immediately ran and took a sponge, soaked it with vinegar (a sour wine), and put it on a reedstaff and was about to give it to Him to drink" (Matthew 27:48).

20. The Messiah would commit His Spirit to God.

Prophecy: "Into Your hand I commit my spirit;" (Psalm 31:5).

Fulfillment: "And Jesus, crying out with a loud voice, said, Father, into Your hands I commit My Spirit! And with these words, He expired" (Luke 23:46).

21. The Messiah's friends would stand far off.

Prophecy: "My lovers and my friends stand aloof from my plague; and my neighbors and my near ones stand afar off" (Psalm 38:11).

"You have put my (familiar) friends far from me; You have made me an abomination to them. I am shut up and cannot come forth" (Psalm 87:Cool.

Fulfillment: "And all the acquaintances of (Jesus) and the women who had followed Him from Galilee stood at a distance and watched these things" (Luke 23:49).

22. The Messiah's bones would not be broken.

This symbolic prophecy likens Jesus to the Passover Lamb of Exodus. This lamb was to be "without blemish," "a male," and without any bones broken. After being slaughtered, it's blood was to be applied to the doorposts of the houses of the Israelites, to prevent the destroyer from killing their firstborn.

Today, the blood of Jesus does for us, what the blood of the passover lamb foreshadowed. As we apply His blood to our "forehead" and "hands" (the top and sides of the door posts) we also, are protected from the Destroyer, and from the Second Death.

Prophecy: "...Neither shall you break a bone of it" (Exodus 12: 46).

"They shall leave none of it until the morning, nor break any bone of it; according to all the statute for the passover they shall keep it" (Numbers 9:12).

Fulfillment: "But when they came to Jesus, and they saw that he was already dead, they did not break His legs...For these things took place that the Scripture might be fulfilled (verified, carried out) Not one of His bones shall be broken" (John 19: 33,36).

23. The state of the Messiah's heart.

"Jesus literally died of a broken heart. Not only was it punctured by the soldier's sword thrust, but the extreme mental and spiritual torture was so great that His heart was ruptured before the point of the sword pierced it. Appearance of the blood and water indicated that the lymphatic fluid apparently had separated from the red blood, producing 'blood and water.'" (From "All The Messianic Prophecies of the Bible" by Herbert Lockyer, Zondervan, page 156).

Prophecy: "I am poured out like water...my heart is like wax, it is softened (with anguish), and melted down within me" (Psalm 22:14).

Fulfillment: "But one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and immediately blood and water came (flowed) out of it" (John 19:34).

"This is He who came by (with) water and blood..." (1 John 5:6).

24. The Messiah would be hid from a gaping crowd by darkness.

Prophecy: "And in that day, says the Lord God, I will cause the sun to go down at noon, and I will darken the earth in the broad daylight time" (Amos 8:9).

Fulfillment: "Now from the sixth hour (noon) there was darkness over the all the land until the ninth hour (three o'clock)" (Matthew 27:45).

25. The Messiah would be buried with the rich.

Normally, the Roman custom was to throw the corpses of the crucified to wild roaming dogs. However, the body of Jesus was spared this fate, as one of His secret disciples, wealthy Joseph of Arimathea received special permission to bury his body in his own tomb.

Prophecy: "And they assigned Him a grave with the wicked, and with a rich man in His death..." (Isaiah 53:9).

Fulfillment: "When it was evening, there came a rich man from Arimathea, named Joseph, who was also a disciple of Jesus. He went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus, and Pilate ordered that it be given him. And Joseph took the body and rolled it up in a clean linen cloth used for swathing dead bodies, and laid it in his own fresh (undefiled) tomb, which he had hewn in the rock; and he rolled a big boulder over the door and went away (Matthew 27:57-60).

26. The Messiah would die a voluntary, substitutionary death.

Prophecy: "...He poured out His life unto death, and He let Himself be regarded as a criminal and be numbered with the transgressors, yet he bore (and took away) the sin of many...(Isaiah 53:12b).

"But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement needful to obtain peace and well being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes that wounded Him we are healed and made whole....All we like sheep have gone astray, we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord has made to light on Him the guilt and iniquity of us all...My Servant (shall) justify and make many righteous--upright and in right standing with God; for He shall bear their iniquities and their guilt (with the consequences, says the Lord)" (Isaiah 53:5,6,11).

"I gave My back to the smiters, and my cheeks to those who plucked off the hair; I hid not my face from shame and spitting" (Isaiah 50:6).

Fulfillment: "I am the Good Shepherd. The good shepherd risks and lays down his (own) life for the sheep" (John 10:11).

"..I lay down My own life to take it back again. No one takes it away from Me. On the contrary, I lay it down voluntarily" (John 10: Cool.

"Just as the Son of man came not to be waited on but to serve, and give his life as a ransom for many--the price paid to set them free" (Matthew 20:28).

"He personally bore our sins in His (own) body to the tree (as to an alter and offered Himself on it), that we might die (cease to exist) to sin and live to righteousness. By His wounds you have been healed" (1 Peter 2:24).

Resurrection of Jesus the Messiah

TOP

"Why should it be thought incredible by any of you that God raises the dead?" --The Apostle Paul (Acts 26:Cool.

In spite of all the prophecies that Jesus fulfilled concerning Himself, it would matter little if He was not raised from the dead, thus conquering death for Himself and all who would follow Him. His resurrection was continually alluded to in the Old Testament, with many "types and shadows," as well as direct prophecies.

1. The Messiah would not be bound to the power of death.

Prophecy: "For You will not abandon me to Sheol (the place of the dead), neither will You suffer Your holy one to see corruption (Psalm 16:10).

"O Lord, You have brought My life up from Sheol (the place of the dead); You have kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit (the grave)" (Psalm 30:3).

Fulfillment: "And going to into the tomb, they saw a young man sitting (there) on the right (side), clothed in a (long, stately, sweeping) robe of white, and they were utterly amazed and struck with terror. And he said to them, Do not be amazed and terrified; you are looking for Jesus of Nazareth Who was crucified. He is risen; He is not here. See the place where they laid Him" (Mark 16: 5-6).

"For this reason He says also in another Psalm, You will not allow Your Holy one to see corruption--to undergo putrefaction and dissolution (of the grave)" (Acts 13:35).

2. The Messiah would destroy the power of death for others.

Prophecy: "Your dead shall live, O Lord; the bodies of our dead (saints) shall rise. You who dwell in the dust, awake and sing for joy!" (Isaiah 26:19).

"And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life and some to shame and everlasting contempt and abhorrence" (Daniel 12:2).

"O Death, where are your plagues? O Sheol, where are your destructions?" (Hosea 13:14).

"He will swallow up death in victory--He will abolish death forever; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the reproach of His people He will take away from off all the earth; for the Lord has spoken it" (Isaiah 25:Cool.

Fulfillment: "Jesus said to her, I am (Myself) the Resurrection and the Life. Whoever believes in--adheres to, trusts in and relies on--Me, although he may die, yet he shall live" (John 11:25).

"(It is that purpose and grace) which He now has made known and has fully disclosed and made real (to us) through the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ Who annulled death and made it of no effect, and brought life and immortality--that is, immunity from eternal death--to light through the Gospel" (2 Timothy 1:10).

"And when this perishable puts on the imperishable and this (that was) capable of dying puts on freedom from death, then shall be fulfilled the Scripture that says, Death is swallowed up (utterly vanquished, forever) in and unto victory. O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?" (1 Corinthians 15:54-55).

"...(Jesus) suffered death, in order that by the grace (unmerited favor) of God (to us sinners) He might experience death for every individual person...He (Himself) in a similar manner partook of the same (nature), that by (going through) death He might bring to nought and make of no effect him who had the power of death, that is, the devil; and also that He might deliver and completely set free all those who through the (haunting) fear of death were held in bondage throughout the whole course of their lives" (Hebrews 2:9,14b,15).

3. The Messiah would be raised on the third day.

There is much "third-day" typepology in the Old Testament, that points to the third-day resurrection of the Messiah. Three is the number of divine perfection.

Prophecy: "After two days He will revive us--quicken us, give us life; on the third day he will raise us up, that we may live before Him" (Hosea 6:2).

"Now the Lord had prepared and appointed a great fish to swallow up Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish for three days and three nights" (Jonah 1:17).

"Jesus answered them, Destroy (undo) this temple and in three days I will raise it up again" (John 2: 19).

"For even as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the sea monster, so will the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth" (Matthew 12: 40).

"...they will put Him to death; and when He is killed, after three days He will rise (from death) (Mark 8:31b).

Fulfillment: "But on the first day of the week at early dawn (the women) went to the tomb, taking the spices which they had made ready. And they found the stone rolled back from the tomb. But when they went inside they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. And while they were perplexed and wondering what to do about this, behold, two men in dazzling raiment suddenly stood beside them. And as (the women) were frightened and were bowing their faces to the ground, the men said to them, Why do you look for the living among (those who are) dead? He is not here, but He has risen! Remember how He told you while He was still in Galilee, that the Son of man must be given over into the hands of sinful men (that is, men whose way or nature is to act in opposition to God), and be crucified, and on the third day rise (from death). And they remembered His words, and having returned to the tomb, they reported all these things (taken together) to the eleven apostles and to all the rest" (Luke 24:1-9).

"Then He (thoroughly) opened up their minds to understand the Scriptures, And then He said to them, Thus it is written, that the Christ, the Messiah, should suffer and on the third day rise from (among) the dead" (Luke 24:45-46).

4. The Messiah would ascend to heaven.

Prophecy: "You have ascended on high. You have led away captive a train of vanquished foes;" (Psalm 68:18).

Fulfillment: "So then the Lord Jesus, after He had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven and He sat down at the right hand of God" (Mark 16:19).

"And it occurred that while He was blessing them, He parted from them and was taken up into heaven" (Luke 24:51).

"And when He had said this, even as they were looking (at Him), He was caught up, and a cloud received and carried Him away out of their sight" (Acts 1:9).
