A university professor of Economics in the United States, Steve Hanke has reacted to the controversy surrounding President Bola Tinubu's academic credentials.
 
He took to his Twitter page to bare his mind.
 
Sharing his thoughts, he said the diploma Tinubu submitted to INEC is inconsistent with Chicago State University's records.

What we know about Nigerian Pres. Bola Tinubu's Chicago State University (CSU) records:

1) The diploma Tinubu submitted to the INEC is inconsistent w/ CSU's records.

2) The DOB & gender is incorrect on his CSU application.

I don’t know what all the noise is about. Most Nigerians of his age range show off FAKE DOCUMENTATION.

It’s another Nigeria thing. Let’s stop pretending.
Tinubus “mistake” was including a country that can boast of documentation from the 16th century.

We sold our people into slavery and didn’t even ask for a receipt!

We show
FAKE bank statements- to get visa’s.
FAKE age documents to get a pension
FAKE documents to “japa!”
FAKE education certificates to get a job
FAKE names - to pretend to be someone else!

Tinubu was born and raised in Nigeria. So let’s stop pretending we are all any better. We are NOT!

I am yet to see any  Nigeria President DO anything POSITIVE for the nation of Nigeria  - it’s all about FAKE prestige.
