Nigeria may have signed the controversial EU - ACP Agreement today, 15th November, 2023.
The EU-ACP if signed will promote LGBTQ ideologies in Nigeria and affect Nigerian parenting values and childhood s€xuality culture.
The binding 20-year agreement which will reintroduce Comprehensive S€xuality Education (CSE) back into schools despite parents’ outrage with regards to CSE’s s€xualizing content.
The Chairman of the Human Rights Committee, Sonny A. Kosi, raised concerns over provisions in the deal that contradict Nigeria’s values.
Korsi lamented that the adoption of the agreement subtly promotes LGBTQ ideology which is at variance with Nigeria’s philosophical, communal and religious norms. He cited the lack of time given to parliamentarians to thoroughly scrutinize the treaty before the scheduled signing.
Ghana and Namibia had allegedly rejected signing the agreement.
