Are u urself a strong man? If u are a strong man, then u need a lady not a manly-woman nor an over-soft one @ that....If u are a strong man, then look for a lady to complete you and not a man like urself...all women have their strong and weak points...what u consider a strong quality in a woman, may be considered a disadvantage by another man!

hmmmmmmm, i dont see much sin he committed,may be this guy has been running up and down for more than expected, bringing the wife  to hopital, getting the mother inlaw,etc, since the mother in law is there, then he can go and get rest, so no complain woman

his going home does,nt mean he did really take a nap.secondly his staying behind also does,nt mean he lov her so much.my papa dey hospital wey my mama born our last pikin.but b4 my mum come house he go carry woman come sleep for house.two of them still dey enjoy themselve till today wey them done old finish. as a woman some things have to be neglected even if u feel bad about it just for ur children sake.if u look and care about ur feeling that marriage will hit the rock and the kids will suffer phycologically.

all men are not  the same, u re assuming that the man should hev being inside the theatre with the woman, remember that in some cases that the doctor use to send the men out of the theatre mostly if the woman is painfull labour so, the case differs attimes

Not at this our present time would a responsible man be at home resting, while the wife was in labour. His presence matters a lot to the woman. It gives the woman more strenght, in order to endure the crucial pain...

Agreed absolutely! An over-soft woman is doing a great harm to herself.....there's a difference between being over-pampered, loving a woman and a man showing his woman that he cares....Every woman, no matter how much of a 'lady' she is-needs to be strong for her family-her husband, her children & others who are directly her responsibility. Nonetheless, the man should show her he cares and an example is staying close by during times like delivering a baby....and as a matter of fact, a woman shouldn't let an incident like the one illustrated in this post break her home. Like I said before, worse things happen to other couples....as for me, any issue that has no life-threatening effect shouldn't break a home....I rest my case.

Hmmmm i'm educated by this your last comment! The bottom line still remains don't crucify the man for not being in the hosp. for his wife's delivery there might be some strong reasons for that, you and the new baby all is his responsibilities and property he is in charge of your well being
