HARDSHIP; ‘Your Policies Are Against The People’ – Oyo Residents Tell Tinubu As They Protest

Residents of Oyo State have declared that the policies of the President Bola Tinubu administration are against the people.

The residents made this declaration during a peaceful protest staged against the current economic hardship in the country.

Our correspondent reports that the peaceful protest was organised by youths in the state.

One of the protesters, Comrade Kunle Ajayi, who spoke on behalf of the residents, called on the people of the state to rise up and speak against the current economic hardship.

Ajayi while speaking, said that nothing is working in the country.

“We have to come out, Nigeria cannot continue this way. Things are so bad.

“We need to rise up. We need to come out together as people. We need to say no to bad policies.

“We need to tell the IMF and Tinubu that his policies are against the people. If you have one hundred thousand naira, it is like one thousand naira, if you have ten thousand naira, it is like one naira.

“Nothing is working. We need to make things work. That is the reason why we are outside. We are mobilising. It is just testing the microphone.”

Igbos know why North and South West are protesting. Because they are not used to hardship. Everything in North and South West was subsidized. Tinubu came and removed all that. This has ignited the TINUBU MUST GO protests you are seeing today. Wait a minute....Is this not the TINUBU the BUILDER  of Lagos or shall we wait for another one?

Protests are going on in the North and South West regions police are not tear gassing not to talk of shooting at the protesters with live bullets and people are wondering why the old Eastern region of South East and South South are silent. The reason is that the people from this region have for a long time been marginalized by the federal government dominated by North and South West. Secondly, any protests in the East/South South will be crushed with Tucano jet bomber.
