A storyteller recently shared an anecdote about his employee's sibling who declined medical treatment due to religious convictions.

Obinna Udenwe took to his social media platform to reflect on "the profound impact of religion on our lives."

He recounted an incident where the brother of one of his employees sustained injuries from a fall while pruning a tree.

Upon admission to the hospital, the writer extended financial assistance to cover the cost of surgery.

However, the surgical procedure faced repeated delays as the injured individual, a follower of Jehovah's Witness, adamantly refused to undergo surgery involving blood transfusion, citing religious beliefs.

Throughout his hospitalization, members of his church regularly visited, providing him with fruits and vegetables in an attempt to bolster his blood levels. Despite their efforts, when doctors insisted on the necessity of a blood transfusion, the injured individual chose to return home and endure paralysis rather than compromise his religious convictions.

Read the writer's narration in the screenshots below.

Hello I don't think this story is real, though alot of misleading individuals usually spread false stories about Jehovah witnesses, I have been in that religion almost all my life, I have never heard them say don't do surgery when the need arises, na only blood transfusions dem dey reject oh, beware of false stories.....
