Nigerian beauty entrepreneur, Adeola Adeyemi, better known as Diadem, has taken to social media to tearfully debunk claims of being romantically involved with Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
A blogger had claimed that the mother of one was sleeping with the politician and that he was constructing a house for her. As expected, the baseless news quickly went viral, prompting mixed reactions from netizens.

Barely four hours after the news was shared, Adeola posted a video in which she vehemently refuted the allegation, stating that she has never even met the Governor in person.
She questioned the motive behind the lies, emphasizing that she simply minds her business. She also cursed the blogger for spreading the damaging rumor about her, swearing that they would not find peace.
In a moment of intense emotion, Adeola requested a Bible and prayed that if the rumor is true, then let all the curses in the Bible come upon her.
She further expressed deep hurt over the allegation, mentioning that the government has never supported her brand and now detractors want to attribute her success to the governor.
She broke down in tears and mentioned that she has been managing her business alone with her child, and warned people to leave her alone.
