Senator Abdulaziz Yari, representing Zamfara West, has announced plans to distribute 358 trucks of assorted food items, including rice, millet, sugar, and maize, to people in Zamfara State ahead of the holy month of Ramadan.

Ibrahim Muhammed, Chairman of the Publicity Committee of A A Yari Political Organisation, confirmed in a statement issued in Gusau on Sunday that the distribution would be carried out irrespective of political affiliations.

The distribution is expected to benefit a total of 17,500 households across 13 out of the 14 Local Government Areas of Zamfara State. Muhammed stated that more than 98 percent of the items have already been transported to various local government areas, ensuring timely access for beneficiaries.

The beneficiaries of the palliatives will include the needy, orphans, widows, and divorcees, as identified by the publicity committee chairman.

Muhammed assured that the distribution process would commence on or before the commencement of Ramadan, urging the public to pray for Senator Abdulaziz Yari, as well as for the progress and prosperity of Zamfara State and Nigeria as a whole.
