A man has said that Igbo culture does not recognise paternity fraud.

He took to X to make this claim.

He wrote: “Many Igbo men can't accept the fact that in Igbo culture, paternity fraud isn't a thing. It's sad pill to swallow, but it's not a thing.”

He added: “Who pays bride price owns the child, regardless of sperm donor.”

It is not only in Igbo culture, in some or most European countries, co-habiting couple with children, and another man proposes to lady and married her, the kids belongs to the current man, they become step children and step Dad. It is a matter of pay and collect your property, otherwise  the 'business is on credit'
