In Phuket, Thailand, Tourist Police have apprehended two Nigerian nationals on charges of trafficking cocaine. The suspects, identified as Harrison Chinonso Onyema, aged 40, and Ogadinma Promise Onyema, aged 41, were detained last Thursday in the parking area of a hotel along Kata Road in Karon.

The arrests were part of a targeted operation by the Phuket Tourist Police, who have been actively monitoring drug trafficking activities within the region. Following their capture, both individuals were escorted to Karon Police Station, where they were formally charged with the sale of illegal category 2 narcotics, specifically cocaine.

Additionally, Harrison Chinonso Onyema faces separate charges related to his illegal entry and residence within Thailand. Details regarding their pleas or any statements made to the police have not been disclosed to the public at this time. The case continues to develop as local authorities pursue further leads.
