After over 12 hours apart, famous Afrobeat musician Davido Adeleke mocks his rival, Wizkid, following a harsh remark delivered at him.
It should be noted that on Monday morning, during a conversation with his followers, Wizkid insulted the 30BG Record Label boss by posting a video of his purported romance with an American model.
This tweet elicited thousands of replies from fans of both artists, even plays involving other musicians such as Kizz Daniel and Tekno who swung at each other.
In response to Wizkid’s covert shade, Davido moved to the X platform, where he proceeded to criticise the former, claiming that his songs are now past tense.
“Dem no know ur gbedu [Translation: music] again ,” he wrote.
In another post, he added, “When LIGHT comes darkness VANISHES!!! LETS GET ACTIVE!!”
Fans have flooded the comment section to applaud the comeback, while Wizkid FC berated O.B.O.
