Popular Nigerian author, Onyeka Nwelue is mourning the demise of late singer and journalist, Onyeka Onwenu.
He recounted the conversations hey had before he was involved in an accident that left him on a wheelchair for three months.
Asides having the same name, they were also both born on January 31.
Nwelue disclosed that Onwenu was the compere at his 30th birthday celebration. He then revealed the warning she gave him on that day.
She advised him not to eat anything at his birthday venue because something bad was about to happen.
He wrote on X: "At my 30th birthday, she said to me: 'Make sure you don’t eat anything here. Something bad is about to happen.' On the next day, a Tundra rammed into my car and I was confined to a wheelchair for 3 months."
