Bandits Kill Man After He Delivered N2m Ransom To Free His Abducted Daughter In Katsina

Bandits have k!lled a businessman, Mallam Garba Gardi Funtua after he paid N2m ransom for the release of his abducted daughter in Katsina state.
 
It was gathered that bandits kidnapped his daughter from the Federal University Dutsin-Ma, Katsina, last month.
 
The bandits released his daughter and held him captive after he delivered the N2m ransom.
 
Garba was held captive for 18 days, during which the bandits demanded an additional N5 million.
 
His family learned on Sunday, August 4, that he had been k!lled 17 days ago.
 
His son, Funtua confirmed the incident in a Facebook post.
 
""It is with total submission to the will of Allah (SWT) that I announce the death of my father Alh. Abubakar Garba Gardi Funtua. He was k!lled by the bandits that kidnapped my sister last month. Jana'iza holds tommorrow 5/08/2024 @ his residence of Gangaren Tasaulawa Funtua by 9am inshaAllah. Please pray for his soul," he wrote.
