Ifeanyi Ejiofor, the lawyer of the embattled leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) leader, Nnamdi Kanu, has stated that if President Tinubu is concerned about the wellbeing of Igbos in Lagos, he should dismiss his aide, Bayo Onanuga.

Ejiofor alleged that President Tinubu's Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga remained the chief promoter and originator of ethnic threats against Ndigbo in Lagos.

Ejiofor said this on Wednesday while reacting to the President’s broadcast on Sunday.

The President, in his nationwide broadcast, warned that threats against any ethnic region would not be accepted by his administration.

The IPOB lawyer said the President cannot keep Onanuga as a member of his cabinet and speak against threats to Ndigbo in Lagos by others.

He said,
Quote
“If the presidency is genuinely concerned about the serious threats to the safety of the lives and properties of Igbos in Lagos State, associated with the inflammatory hashtag, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu should without further ado, dismiss Bayo Onanuga from his cabinet.

“It is contradictory to keep the originator, Chief promoter and main advocate of ethnic baiting against Igbos in the government, especially when he has repeatedly expressed his deep-seated animosity towards the Igbos and even suggested their expulsion from Lagos, without any reprimand. He was rather rewarded with an appointment by the Tinubu-led Government.

“It is easily understandable that this faceless group are mere mentees and advocates of Bayo Onanuga’s long held philosophy on ethnic hatred against Igbos.”

He further advised Ndigbo to stand together and support each other amid ethnic threats and profiling directed at them by enemies of unity and peace in Nigeria.

“Following the turn out of events, the Igbos may need to take control of their fate and prepare for tougher times ahead. Only time will reveal the outcome.

“In these trying times, the resilience and unity of the Igbo community are paramount. Standing together and supporting one another will be crucial in overcoming these challenges and ensuring a future of peace and equality,”
Ejiofor wrote on his X handle.

phyuk Off Ejiofor. Why must he sack Bayo Onanuga to please you. Listen the sun does not shine up your ass.
Onanuga will spend 8 years with Tinubu. When it's the turn of your messiah Peter the Bitter Obi (Loser) then do as you like. If you don't like it, take a dive in the lagoon.
