The Nigerian man whose wife tore his international passport after they arrived at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos has finally spoken out about the incident.
He expressed his profound shock, explaining that he never expected such an extreme action from his wife. According to the man, their relationship had been strained while living abroad, and these issues seemed to have escalated upon their return to Nigeria.
Reports from GISTMANIA had previously detailed the incident, noting that the woman, a mother of three, tore her husband's passport into pieces shortly after they landed in Lagos. Witnesses, some of whom captured the scene on video, remarked that she had been behaving unusually since boarding the flight.
Despite this, the exact reasons behind her decision to destroy the passport remain unclear, as no additional details have fully emerged to explain her actions.
