A Nigerian businesswoman, Chukwudi Mmesoma, has hit back at people criticizing her for saying she will never be with a broke man and that she prefers men giving her money instead of endless phone calls and professions of love.
The posts declaring her preferences had elicited mixed reactions and epistles, mostly from men, with many of them sl*t shaming and insulting her.
“Instead of praying and working on how to break that poverty that is hovering around you and your family for years, you are using that time and energy to hate on me? You are wasting your time,” the medicinal herb seller wrote in a Facebook post on Monday.
"If you are not going to put your money, where your sweet talk is, then you should not be wasting my time. I am not doing love where there is no money. It is very simple.
"Go to your mother and cry. I will never be with a broke man, Chineke Aju!
“After going through this process to ensure that I am not broke or poor, you now want me to be with a poor man? Chineke ekwele ihe ijo.”
