Gunmen have tragically assassinated Mrs Rose Enojoh, a businesswoman in Kogi State, Nigeria, after revealing that they were paid N200,000 to carry out the crime.

The incident occurred on September 9, 2024, in the town of Igala. The assailants reportedly intercepted the woman on her way home with her husband, they told her how much they received to end her life, she offered more, they collected that and still shot her at close range.

A relative disclosed this sad incident via a social media handle.

The motive behind the assassination remains unclear
