The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has arrested three women namely; Patience Saunyama (40), Gloria Gara (30), and Juliet Charanjeru (23) after they were allegedly seen in a viral video assaulting another woman, whom they accused of having an affair with one of their husbands.
In a statement, Deputy National Police Spokesperson, Assistant Commissioner Blessmore Chishaka, revealed that the suspects have been apprehended.
Chishaka clarified that although the video recently surfaced online, the incident occurred last month.

“The Zimbabwe Republic Police confirms the arrest of the three suspects, Patience Saunyama (40), Gloria Gara (30), and Juliet Charanjeru (23), in connection with the assault case which occurred at a borehole at Dzimbiti Village, Saunyama, Nyanga, on 12th August 2024,”
he said.The viral video depicted the three women confronting the victim at a borehole, accusing her of having an affair with one of their husbands. In the footage, the alleged mistress is seen being assaulted while holding a baby.
In addition to this case, the ZRP is investigating other assault incidents that have recently circulated on social media.
