Check Out Four Things To Know As Dangote Refinery Begins Petrol Distribution On Sunday

Ahead of the commencement of Premium Motor Spirit (Petrol) distribution from Dangote Refinery on Sunday, 15th September, 2024, DAILY POST has outlined four key things Nigerians should know.

On Friday, the Nigeria Government said the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited will load petrol from Dangote Refinery on Sunday.

This comes weeks after the President of Dangote Group had officially announced the rollout of PMS.

Here are the four things to know:

1. NNPCL will be the sole distributor of Dangote Refinery’s PMS, and then sell to marketers at the inaugural stage.

2. The commencement of Dangote Refinery distribution will not lead to Petrol pump price adjustments at this stage.

3. Dangote Petrol will end fuel supply hiccups in Nigeria.

4. Marketers will subsequently commence offtake of Dangote refinery’s petrol after they have arrived at a pricing agreement with the firm.

I am beginning to understand that all this rapid hike in PMS price is so that after, when Dangote reduces it back to N1k, he will be hailed as the Messiah. They are all in the same league. An evil threesome between corruption, greed and monopoly.

Maybe if NNPCL sell the crude oil to him cheaper and everyone see it, he won't have a cause to hike price or even the veil marketeer will not have the power to determine prices11 again NNPC should self low to them!!!  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

If this Government is interested in the plight of the citizens, NNPCL will be ordered to run its business in a transparent way. No be NNPCL get Nigeria, its the other way round, and its not a private enterprise. They should be transparent and let us know how much they sell to Dangote in Naira. Without this transparency, everything na scam.
