Former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo arrived in Minna, the capital of Niger State, on Sunday evening for a significant meeting with former military leaders. Obasanjo touched down at around 4:15 p.m. aboard a chartered flight from Benin City, where he had attended the 90th birthday celebration of Chief Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion, the Esama of Benin Kingdom.
Upon his arrival, Obasanjo headed straight to the hilltop residence of former Military President Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (IBB). Sources revealed that waiting to meet him were former Head of State General Abdulsalami Abubakar and former National Security Adviser General Aliyu Gusau. This high-profile gathering has sparked interest, though the details of their discussions remain undisclosed.
