Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has called on Nigerians to reaffirm their trust in President Bola Tinubu as his administration continues to implement wide-ranging reforms aimed at revitalizing the nation's economy.
In a statement released in Abuja to mark the celebration of this year's Maulud, which commemorates the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), Ganduje urged citizens to support Tinubu's efforts to improve the standard of living across the country.
“In the spirit of this season, I encourage all Nigerians to renew their confidence in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as he leads a comprehensive economic agenda driven by a deep passion for transformative change, with the goal of enhancing the quality of life for all citizens," Ganduje stated.
He also called on APC members to use the occasion to reflect on their faith and recommit to the teachings of Prophet Muhammad. "Let us unite in building a society that is just, equitable, and peaceful," Ganduje said, emphasizing the importance of the Prophet’s message of peace, love, and compassion.
He further described the Prophet as a model of leadership, wisdom, and kindness, urging Nigerians to follow his example. "As we commemorate the Prophet’s birthday, we must rededicate ourselves to the principles of justice, equality, and fairness that he championed," Ganduje concluded.
The statement marks a significant reminder of the importance of Islamic values and the need for unity and collaboration in addressing the country's economic challenges.
