Kate Henshaw has said some police officers, through their actions, are responsible for how the citizens view them.
She said this while narrating how a police officer tried to arrest her for driving against traffic.
The actress explained that she had been plying that route until today, when she noticed police vans stationed at the spot.
She said she thought there was an event and the police were providing security. Only for a police officer to approach her and try to forcefully get into her car.
When she asked why, he told her there was a road diversion and the lane was now one-way.
Kate mentioned that no sign was put to indicate this and she confronted the officer about this.
"You were wrong," she told the police officer in the video she shared on Instagram to narrate the incident.
She added that people at the scene prevailed on the officer to let her go because she's an actress.
Kate asked why she couldn't just get a decent treatment as a human being, without her celebrity status influencing the officer to treat her better.
"I'm so pissed," she captioned a video of the incident.
