The commissioner said Jiddo had fingered Salifu in Damaturu and Mohammed Goni of Gomari ward in Maiduguri of being the financiers of the series of illegal dealings and smugglings of arms from Chad and Cameroon to perpetrate serial killings in Borno State. He disclosed that two AK 47 loaded rifles with several magazines, two berretta pistols with magazines, one makrov pistol with magazine, one rocket launcher, tow RPG Bombs and two detonating bomb cables already set in motion were recovered..
