A viral video shared online shows the moment a man, said to be the parent of a student, att@cked a teacher in class, in the presence of her students.
In the video, the man is seen hi!tting the female teacher wearing a red blouse.
Another teacher steps in and separates the fight but he turns on the new teacher and begins wagging a thre@tening finger at her.
He is then seen threatening the other teachers present in Yoruba.
"Stop it," the first teacher who intervened and other teachers in the background are heard saying.
"That's very wrong. You're f!ghting a married woman. In our school," the first teacher who intervened is heard telling the parent.
"I will not take this one o. I will not take it," the teacher who was attacked is heard saying.
According to internet users, the incident happened at Rosebud school in Idimu, Lagos State.
Nigerians have tagged the X handles of the Lagos State police while calling on them to investigate the assault.
