Jibrin Barau, the Deputy Senate President has rewarded members of the Flying Eagles.
 
Barau has donated N2m to the Flying Eagles following the team’s victory over Cote d’Ivoire.

 
Aliyu Zubairu’s side defeated the Ivorians 2-1 in their final group game on Thursday to claim a place in the semi-final at the ongoing WAFU B U-20 Championship.
 
The defending champions will face Niger Republic in the semi-final on Saturday.
 
A win in the game will guarantee the team a spot at the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.
 
Ghana and Cote d’Ivoire will clash in the other semi-final.
 
South Africa will host the 2025 U-20 AFCON.
