Federal Govt Approves N9.8bn For Rehabilitation of Presidential Wing of Abuja Airport

The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has approved a ₦9.8 billion budget for the rehabilitation of the Presidential Wing at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.

This project will involve several key upgrades, including:

Rehabilitation of the link road from Bill Clinton Drive to the Presidential Wing

Construction of an access road to the Presidential Kitchen

Enhancements to the hangar for the presidential aircraft

Establishing a holding centre for visiting presidents

The contract, awarded to Julius Berger, has a six-month completion deadline.
