Self-styled investigative journalist Kemi Olunloyo has raised alarms regarding the popular TikToker Peller, alleging that he is currently under investigation by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) due to past claims of involvement in internet fraud, commonly referred to as “yahoo-yahoo.”
In an audio message shared on her social media platforms, Olunloyo cited an unnamed source purportedly from the FBI, suggesting that Peller’s alleged history of cybercrime is now being scrutinized by Nigerian authorities.
The controversial journalist claimed that during a recent live session, the 19-year-old content creator confessed to having previously engaged in fraudulent online activities before transitioning to a career in social media.
Olunloyo cautioned Peller to be wary of his public statements, warning that his past admissions could potentially lead to legal repercussions. “If you know Peller, please tell him to SFTU. He is about to single-handedly ruin his own future,” she remarked, indicating the seriousness of her claims.
As the story develops, the TikTok star has yet to respond to Olunloyo’s allegations, which continue to fuel discussions on social media about the implications of his past and its potential impact on his burgeoning career.
